So then a bunch of time passes. As much as Corri likes hanging out with Ruby, it's kind of driving him crazy, because she has this huuuuuuuuuuuge crush on Billy... So of course, he tries to make sure when he's hanging out with her, it's not around his brother, so it doesn't bother him as much. But he's still pretty jealous.

Billy on the other hand is muchly jealous as well. The more he gets to know Ruby, or the more he hears about her, the more she reminds him of Raven. He doesn't like that at all. He doesn't like the fact that Corri spends so much time with her either.
One night, Corri is over at Ruby's house, watching horror movies with her. Billy is happy, because their mom is gone that night. The weather is turnoing bad by the time he gets off work though, so he hopes that Corri gets home soon.
Over at Ruby's, she holds up two DVD cases. "Which one next?" she asks.

Corri looks at the time, "Hold that though... it's getting pretty late..." He was thinking he should go home, but then he looks outside, "It's really coming down out there..."
