Kujujuwa Sooooo... this new Item Alchemy thing is a load of crock! Anything that I want to make in the level one category takes about 3 million gold worth of RIG items to create. stressed I was a little excited about this too when they announced it, now I'm just upset. Stupid stuff like this makes me not want to use this site anymore. stare Yeah I was really surprised to see how expensive the stuff was. I guess it's directed at the extremely rich Gaians - maybe to get them to spend more? confused

I guess it's directed at the extremely rich Gaians - maybe to get them to spend more? confused Well, why not have a few lower end formulas with common items that make a few simple posed items that in turn could be combined to make better items... so on and so forth. That way it gets us "commoners" into it and generating some in game gold instead of real dollars. More people spending in game gold instead of cash is really good for the site too, they just seem to forget that. Before all of this RIG stuff started to be a regular thing here I used to drop $10-$20 in cash here regularly. When the cash items used to be really worth it, ex: monthly collectibles with a million poses, the awesome cash shop items when it first opened & the super spiffy birthday month items. Now it seems they aren't even putting much effort into making anything good. Wasn't the last RIG full of recolors?

Yeah, I knew I smelled a scam when Valefor came out...then, duh...I almost bought into the "free" item...bought a couple of those formulas...checked (though didn't quite buy into) what I would be manifesting, then I saw that it was part of the Valefor IC "smacks forehead with palm". Now I'm stuck with 9 formulas, two of those free items (used one of my mules...teehee)...and I don't know what to do with the whole lot. sweatdrop I'll probably end up giving in and buying a few of the IC's just to get the damn thing over with. sweatdrop

Another damn issue I have with Gaia is this discount special they have going with G cash...the back to school thing. I bought $25 worth, not only did I not get the special item...but I also didn't get the extra G cash as promised by the ad. I'm currently taking it up with them through a complaint ticket...gods know when they'll get back to me with an answer! scream

The alchemy thing, though something more to piss us off, at least the one thing I seem to think I want is... the intro one. xp So all I need is to get an ocen summer top out of the daily chance and I am set.

i'm annoyed with alchemy too. i was surprised that you need so many items for the formulas, like so many copies of one thing.

Yeah, the whole thing seems to be a massive gold sink that will create unreasonable inflation on certain items. Some of the items looks nice, but I'm not going to spend millions of golds on getting the ingredients. I agree with Exxos. The only thing I really liked so far is the intro one and I happened to have an ocean top so I'm done with my alchemy. whee

I don't have a TV at my house, so when I go online and do Gaia and Facebook I always worry that my bf is bored, waiting for me to pay attention to him. I looked over my shoulder at him a minute ago, and... he's reading Harry Potter. He doesn't need me at all! rofl

Sammirah Teeshann i thought that alchemy thing would be fun but it's way too expensive to make anything. darn it. Maybe if enough people complain/don't use it they'll change it after some time? maybe. probably not though.

A sad event in Canadian history happened today. We have lost a great man and great leader of the New Democratic Party to cancer at the age of 60yrs old. Now, I'm not a major follower of politics, but I had a chance to meet Jack Layton in person and I have to say, he was a man with great charisma. He was very idealistic and proud in his beliefs that he could continue to make Canada a great country though he never made it to be Primeminister. As a devote follower of the NDP party, I was saddened of the news of his passing at 4am, but not surprised. He had battled cancer for 6 months but never took time off to see through that the voices of his people were heard.
R.I.P Jack Layton, 1940-2011.
