What do people even use these days? Outside of Gaia I'm only really on Steam and Skype.
Xbox Live. I could join Skype for voice calls, especially since I could continue playing. I can also join anyone with an Xbox One on Destiny or one of many other games. I Reddit a bit, but not intensively.

Misogyny implies that it is bad for women. I'm pretty sure the AMC is bad for everyone, whether they be man, woman, gender-neutral, asexual, or a pet rock.

I'm really not up to date with all the new anime. I mean I know the popular ones?
Hmm... Newest/most recent stuff I think the guild would be into? Probably Log Horizon (first two-cour season is dubbed, second two-cour is coming out now), Akame Ga Kill, Barakamon, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (which is getting dubs), Sabagebu!, and Kill-la-Kill (as Kin mentioned). Space Dandy is pretty up there. Less recent that many would like is Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere. And I know some like Dog Days, which has a third season airing now. Next season we get some good stuff too, like Dungeon, a remake of Heroic Legend of Arslan, second series of Knights of Sidonia, new Nanoha series based on the Vivid manga, Ore Monogatari (watch this. Love story of a huge gorilla of a high school guy with a tiny cute girl. The manga is funny as ******** and I can't wait to see some of the reactions animated), and Shokugeki No Soma (Iron Chef meets brutal high school darwinism).
On the down side, we get Rin Ne. Yep, 25 episodes of post-Inuyasha Takahashi. I don't see this as boding well for the AMC.
Oh, and lest some forget....
