Even though Lavi had reluctantly given him an out, Kyle seemed to lack the ability of knowing just when to shut the hell up. He'd just been about to turn back to his own chair when the other Exorcist opened his mouth and he froze. He could feel his temperature rising in anger even more at his words, heating up his cheeks. "Nevermind." He muttered darkly, throwing his earlier reasoning for non-violence out of the window and in one swift movement brought down his already conveniently clenched fist on Kyle's face, aiming for the man's nose which he recalled was prone to bleeding. He bit his lip as to not swear at the impact, trying to ignore the shooting pain in his own hand. Why did punching people in the face have to hurt so much?

If Kyle had known that he would have gotten off the hook if he had just kept his mouth shut... he still would have probably said it, being the intelligent human being that he was. He wasn't expecting Lavi to straight out punch him, and so he couldn't help a yelp of alarm as his fist made contact with his face. "What the hell?" he yelped, nose throbbing and gushing out blood. He quickly sat up against his stomach's protest and attempted to get the bleeding under control. Though he would have loved to reciprocate the punch with one of his own, he was in too much pain to move toward the other man, and so he simply glared before smirking a bit coldly. "... I wouldn't have done that if I were you... Kiah should be coming back at any moment..."
(( Lavi: I vote you punch him again. c: ))

Shaking his aching hand a little, Lavi returned the glare and for good measure kicked the bundle of blankets he'd tossed on the floor half-way across the room so Kyle wouldn't get to them. He scowled at the threat. "I clearly remember there was a 'no naked' clause in that deal. You peek on my girlfriend in the baths, I get to punch you." Lavi crossed his arms, "Anyway, go ahead, tell her. There'll be nothing holding me back anymore and you don't want to know exactly how much I've been holding back." He figured that despite his bluff Kyle wouldn't so easily let go of the preferable position he was in by sharing the information with anyone else. Probably.

What to do exactly. I'm unsure if what I want to do would be alright. I was thinking about persuading people away from Uranium power plants. I heard there was another type of radioactive substance that doesn't burn as hot, but produces more energy than Uranium.
More or less, because right now we're storing radioactive waste under a mountain, but it still takes millions and millions of years to deteriorate, and within that time-period, someone could build their house on it, it could leak, the mountain could collapse.. ETC.
I have to do more research though. I just am not sure..
Either that or why we should save our fuel for future generations.
I-I think I may sleep now though. ;u; I'm falling asleep. Uh- I will read your post tomorrow though. ;u;

(( Well, maybe since it's supposed to be a persuasive paper, you should choose the one that you feel more strongly about! I don't think it matters what other people think, because in the end you're just trying to get them to see your side, so I think it would be alright! c:

The fun part of all of this is that it would be more beneficial for those two if Kiah knew about the situation. BD ))
"It wasn't even on purpose, geez!" Kyle exclaimed, looking longingly at the blankets that were now out of reach. As stupid as he was, he was still able to figure out that in his condition it wouldn't take long for Lavi to beat him unconscious, and simply shot the man a dirty look. Once he was rid of the horrible stomach ache, however, he'd go out of his way to spend more time with the 'cute couple'. He simply scoffed at Lavi's threat and waited a few minutes for his nose to stop bleeding before he painfully stood up, walking over to where the blankets were and taking them to a chair nearby to curl up in. "We'll see...," he stated quietly with a small glare, throwing the blanket over his head soon after.
At that moment, Kiah walked in carefully balancing a tray with one hand, stopping for a second to look at Kyle in confusion from his new location. "... Did the couch try to eat him or something?" she asked while settling into her chair, sliding the stack of papers out of her way. No answer was heard on Kyle's side of the room.

"I can't imagine you tried very hard not to look, either." His uncovered eye narrowed threateningly to convey that if Kyle dared to make any indecent comment on that he might just have to punch him again.
When Kiah came back in Lavi moved back to his own chair, leaving his unfinished pancakes abandoned and burying his face in his book. "Dunno," he shrugged noncommittally at her question, gripping the cover tightly. He lowered the book slightly to glare over its top at Kyle's direction, waiting to see if he'd act on his threat or not.

Kyle made it a point to not answer or even indicate that he was listening to the two as they conversed, slouching into the chair further and wiping away any stray droplets of blood from his nose. In the short amount of time since he had moved, his stomach ache had seemed to intensify, leaving him in the same curled up position he'd been in when the other two had arrived.
"Um... okay..." Her eyebrows furrowed for a few seconds before she shrugged it off, digging into her pancakes happily. "Doesn't quite taste the same when you're sick...," she grumbled good naturedly, raising her head to look at Lavi again. Kiah nearly missed the glare shot in Kyle's direction, but she couldn't exactly say it wasn't her eyes playing tricks on her. "... Are you sure he didn't do something extremely stupid while I was gone? Because I can always give him a good whack~!"
