Oh come on. You know what they're really complaining about. just because we cut down on a little of the unnecessary stuff doesn't mean the guild will be dead. Besides. I think I need to remind people overall this is NOT a "hang out" guild, it has a specific point and topic. :/

Miss-Abba Hiei: I think it's just that coming online to see the thread jump 30 pages ahead of where you left off is kinda discouraging. I know when I get home from work and I see the thread has jumped ahead like 20 pages, not only do I not want to have to comb through those pages to see what's up, but I also feel a little left out. crying And imagine what it must feel like for newer members joining the guild? What really kills the thread is quoting every post one by one. I try to consolidate and answer everyone in one reply. I don't feel it's necessary to quote everyone's post. Just mention what you're talking about so there's no confusion. You can write a lot in one reply so there's really no excuse to make reply after reply just to answer someones post. ...that's my two cents about it, anyway. sweatdrop By God I think you're on to something. When ya think about it, about half the new pages are actual conversation while the other half is just replying. D:

That's because you STILL quoted everything and it got to be posts worthy of Gaia's longest posts hall of fame. Because when you use the BBcode quoting it adds in extra line breaks and such that cause it to take up more room. And you tend to add in about 10 extra line breaks per post. xD
See how much smaller this post is? biggrin
Also, you and I need a brain storming session after my State Test on the 2nd. Until then let's put this thing on ice.

Nah before that, there's been a few about how many new pages appeared. Yeah but that was partially cos Abba, myself, and a few others were out this weekend. Plus it's finals week for most colleges, I've been studying for my test and dealing with family stuff. It'll come back.

That's pretty much what I'm thinking but I'm not making any movement either way until after my test when I can think objectively and logically and be empathetic with both sides of the argument, yanno?
