Gosh ` "Well, no," she said carefully; the mysterious letter from Carmandy and the revelation at the house nagged at her, despire the Queenish woman's assurances. "But everyone's allowed a little privacy. Why don't you tell me about yourself?" He chuckled. "Fair enough. What would you like to know, my dear?" He kept his eyes on hers.

Eyes down... her mother's voice kept echoing in her head, but Ronnie's eyes kept boring into her own until she finally raised them to his. "Well," she said, thinking fast. While she certainly liked keeping the conversation about her, it was headed in an unsettling direction. How to keep his attention on her, with this change in topic? And coyly? Damn it, Elyssa had never been too good at subtlety. "How about, are you hungry?"

ShtrDrNGry Keiko's answer surprised Tanaka, near to the point of being unable to answer her question. Y-yes...I have many. Thirteen sisters and thirty-three brothers. He paused and swallowed hard, shaking his head. Only o-one sister is my full s-sister...and I have no f-full brothers yet. I see, the woman replied. That's quite a lot. I wanted to have another child so that my son wouldn't be alone, but I fear that won't ever happen. Keiko pressed her lips together in thought before smiling again. Do you get along with them?

"Actually, I do feel a bit peckish." He replied. "Where shall we head to, Elyssa? What are you in the mood for?" He winked, quickly.

Argh, damnit. She groaned inwardly. Try to recover. Coy, remember, be coy. So she fluttered her eyelashes, tore her eyes away, tucked a wayward curl behind her ear, and said, "Oh, i don't know. Why don't you decide? I'm not especially hungry- trying to think of you- erm, feminine appetite and all..."
Well, i tried to save it. Damnit.

I-I don't know any of them, really, he offered, blushing faintly as to be honest, he only knew his full sister and one half brother. He was more familiar with his cousins by far. He thought a moment on her words before frowning softly. Why won't you ever have m-more children? He knew it really wasnt his place to question the matter, but he was his father's son, and curiosity was something one couldn't avoid.

Sunray Tristram Desiree tried not to perk up too noticeably when hearing the girl say she was looking for friends. She had a few but they were childhood friends rather than ones she's found in the Underground. "Friends can be hard to come by," she said softy, giving the winged-one a slight smile. "You'll often find that once you make one, they'll disappear on you overnight and you'd have to start all over again." Oh, that's terrible. I'm looking for friends that can be here for me when I need them, Beverly said, tilting her head in thought. But I also will be here for them, as well. You don't want to put your heart out if someone else only puts out half a heart, right? she said, smiling brightly to the girl beside her.

Desiree gripped at her flute. The girl seemed to be a lot like her, at least in the way she wanted to make friends. "You sound a lot like me," she said softly. She wanted to ask if they could be friends but she couldn't get the words out. Sense when had it become so difficult?

The woman laughed softly. Actually, I'm not married, nor do I have a boyfriend or lover, she explained. Therefore, I don't think I'll be having anymore children. I would prefer not to have any in my thirties either. So unless I meet that special someone by then, Kimura is an only child.

w-well...You still have some time, then, Tanaka started, his voice becoming increasingly squeaky with his embarrassment. T-there are lots of people h-here, a-and you're very n-nice...S-so you n-never know.

Well, i tried to save it. Damnit. Ronnie restrained himself from laughing this time, and merely smiled. "Alright." He thought for a moment. "I'm not too familiar with this place, but I think perhaps..." He did stop for a moment, considering it carefully, of the places he did know of. Marni had taken him to one or two. "How does the Underworld Bar and Grill sound?"

He did stop for a moment, considering it carefully, of the places he did know of. Marni had taken him to one or two. "How does the Underworld Bar and Grill sound?" "That sounds wonderful," Elyssa said, smoothing the ruffles of her skirt nervously. Yes, somewhere with a good, stiff drink, please. "Yes, let's go there. Shall we walk? It's such a lovely day." She had, in fact, driven to the Gardens, but perhaps this way Ronnie might be tempted to take her arm... and she had to make up for her recent bumblings somehow.

"Yes, walking sounds fine." He chuckled. "Because that way, when we get there, we'll not only want to sit down, but we'll most likely be more hungry, as well. Don't you think?" He stood up and offered her his hand to help her up, winking at her as well.

Elyssa reached out and took his hand, then exclaimed. "My," she said, blinking up at him, "You've such strong hands." She pretended to marvel over them, turning them over in her own small hands. "Goodness, you make me feel so fragile."

Keiko chuckled, blushing slightly. If only it were as easy as finding someone who was interested, she said. I would prefer someone who was interested in raising a child and maybe becoming a father to the son I already have. From what I've experienced, not many men are like that.
