You are probably right but your rank won't be high enough in a week. You missed the chuunin exams that started maybe a couple weeks ago. Then if you pass that you gotta pass the jounin exam so it may be a while longer.

You don't have to have a certain amount of points to be a rank. Rank is about rp skill for the most part it also depends on who gives the test. There is a cap so we don't have genin running around with 100,000 points. The cap for genin use to be 30,000 back when my first character was a genin

Does having jutsus take away from our total skill points? and how do i move from academy student to genin?

Senku Kumari Does having jutsus take away from our total skill points? and how do i move from academy student to genin? Having Jutsu's doesn't do a thing to it. If you learn them, you gain Skill point. If you use them in battle, they are temporarily lost to the equal amounts of skill points the technique had cost but are returned after the battle. Meaning, the more techs you got, the longer you can last in battle. As for moving from Academy to Genin, just learn one or more techniques from the Ninja Academy Thread and you can carry on. Suggested is that you learn all the jutsu there so you can start off with a few extra skills that may actually be of help.

Since virtually all of my characters are still having fun in the Academy, can I just add 1000 words to each of their running totals for the time skip's freebies?
