Neo smiled slightly at Meghan.
"Nice to see you too."
Neo started walking towards the main hall.
"I want to get to the bottom of this."

As the group on the space station entered the main room, they saw numerous displays showing heroes around the world battling vicious confections. A being in armor and a really, really nice apron greeted them. "Greetings gathered heroes. I am The Baker, and I have summoned you to aid me in this Crisis. An evil force is upon us. The Dark Baker, whom I long thought imprisoned and never to return, has indeed returned to try to destroy the world." The Baker paced upon an overhead platform. "Already, some of you have faced his minions. His goal is the utter domination of the Multigrainverse! He must be stopped! I can send you all to key points in his campaign to weylay his plans. Will you help me?"
Meanwhile in the city, our heroes are cut off from the mayor and the innocent civilians by the pastry armada. The people are crying for help.

Jaeger whirred his spear in a figure eight pattern as he charged in. He was making some headway against the pastries, but there were still many to get through.
"Hang on! We're coming!"

Angel ducked and dodged whatever came his way. Finally getting angry because he and the other two couldn't get to the civilians he let out a scream and slamed both of his hands into the ground. Within a few seconds a sand barrier began to cover the group of people. He wouldn't be able to move from this spot, he'd be able to stand but not move. If he did so the sand barriers would fall. Making his hand burn with fire he began to shoot at some more of the goods that were attacking them.
Ameko sighed glad for Angels power. And so she began to attack whatever came around her, or near Angel. To help him out. After a while she finally noticed, "This isn't working! More and more just come, somebody has to be cooking them right?"

The faster we beat up Dark Baker means the faster we go home.

"So, lemme get this straight. The fate of the world, nay the multigrainverse, rests in the hands of dudes who bake morsels of tasty goodness?"
The Baker nods gravely.
"Ooookay, well, there won't be copious amounts of bavarian cream involved, will there? Cuz, I had this nightmare one time, and..."
Virg pauses as he begins to garner a bunch of weird looks fromt he assembled crowd.
"Aaaaanyway. Sure, I'll help."
Virg nodded at Neo, and looked to Emmast.
"You in?"

"I'll do my best to defeat the Dark Baker!" Megan announced cheerfully. She smiled, ready for action.

"Excellent!" The Baker replied. "Currently, the Dark Baker has two of his Doom Ovens in operation. You must stop them, before his legions overwhelm the world!"
Emmaste, Virgil, and Johnny were instantly transported to a dark city, full of Gothic looking archetecture and blaring sirens. Overhead, a light shown in the dark clouds, it was oval with a very distictive bat in the certer. Crowds were panicked as numerous cheese danishes battled the Gotham City P.D..
Megan and Johnny were transported to another city, this on much brighter, but still under attack. The hard working people of Keystone City were being attacked by Prune Pop Tarts!
Jaeger, Angel and Ameko were making headway. The evil pastries seemed to have forgotten about the hostages with Angel's tactic and focused their new attack on the young heroes!

Teleported into the middle of a panicked crowd, Virg dodges the fleeing citizens and looks up toward the sky, spying the Bat-Signal. Enraptured, Virg stares until a fleeing woman crashes into him, continuing on her way unfazed as she screams."
"This is TERRIBLE! There's cheese.... EVERYWHERE!"
Virg gives her a strange smile, then waves her off.
"Are you kidding me!? This is AWESOME! We're gonna meet BATMAN!"
He looks to Emmast, who is too busy battling pastries to pay him any mind.
"BATMAN!"
Then to Neo. Same deal.
"BATMAN!"
He looks around, everyone far too busy fleeing or fighting to pay him any mind.
"Fine."
Virg sticks a finger out and zaps away a nearby cheese danish.
"BATMAN!"

Neo looks up after bummbling a cheese danish into the ground.
"What Gotham?"
Neo starts smiling after she hears Static say Batman.
"Wow. Batman is so cool."

Glad that they had stopped bothering to try and get to the people hidden in Angels sand barrier, Ameko couldn't help but sigh with relief. That is until one of the pastries came and hit her on the butt. Once again. Reminding her that they were now after them. And so she fought some more. Now panting she wasn't quite sure how much she could keep up with this.
Angel looked through a small hole he made through the sand that shielded him. He wasn't all to sure what more he could do. He was putting all his effert into keeping the sand barrier up. Which wasn't as hard as it had been since the pastries had stopped attacking it.

The cheese danishes seemed to be attacking more people to the west of the heroes' location in Gotham. It looked like the G.C.P.D. were holding the line as best as possible.
The arrival of Megan and Johnny in Keystone City did not go unnoticed. The Prune Pop Tarts rallied and attacked.
Lemon snack cakes began to swirl around in a group as the other continued to press their attack, back in the city. The mayor and other hostages escaped into the relative safety of city hall.

Jaeger altinated between shish-ke-bobbing the nasty little treats and swatting them with his spear. He was elbow deep in cream filling. Then he sasw the lemon snack cakes swirling about.
"Looks like one of our playmates is ready for a return appearance!"

"Come on! We've got to find that Doom Oven!" Megan took flight and the Pop tarts swarmed at her. She easily phased through them.

Temporarily putting aside his search for Batman, Virg finally pays a bit of attention to the cacophony of police sirens and pastry-splattering noises coming from the west. Eager to help and perhaps score a late breakfast, Virg hops on his disc and zooms over to the police line, beckoning for Emmast and Neo to follow.
"C'mon! If we don't help, pretty soon the doughnuts will start attacking the police officers, and that'd be an irreversible reversal of the natural order of things."
