My sleeping issues are getting worse and worse and worse. I can't fall asleep, and when I do I have extremely confusing dreams that leave me more exhausted when I wake up. And because I'm not getting sleep&&energy, swimming is leaving me very very verrryyy drained.
I can't focus in classes anymore, now. I mean, with some colossal effort I can force myself through the work, but later I completely forget all of it. Everything seems very very foggy at the end of the day.
And my mom and coach are not understanding at ALL.
This seems so trivial compared to other peoples' problems, I feel so guilty in posting it.

I'm trying, but nothing works for me. I could use sleeping pills, but I don't trust them, and I don't think they're very good for you. I've also used sleeping tea, but I've found only one brand that works, and I have very limited supply of it [It's a Swiss medicinal relaxing tea... works wonders, but I can only get it when my relatives come down for visits from Switzerland and bring me some.] I really need to figure this out soon, though. I don't want to be forced quit swimming. And thank you for that. That makes me feel much less pathetic. <3

Here's one such website: xQuote: And thank you for that. That makes me feel much less pathetic. <3 Feeling down about sleep deprivation is most certainly not pathetic, nor about your other issues. While your issues may not be as bad as some, say, you're not in a forced labor concentration camp with your family either dead or separated from you, but you still have your issues and are just as entitled to them. A broken wrist may not be as bad as a stroke, but it is no less because of it!

Reine Lunaire, you might try taking some melatonin pills. They're over the counter and are sold as a dietary supplement rather than a drug. My boyfriend's psychiatrist prescribed them for him because when he had pronounced anxiety disorder he had trouble sleeping and these pills seemed to help. I also sometimes took them with him and I found my quality of sleep increased, i.e. I'm a light sleeper but when I took them I stayed asleep the entire time instead of waking up or tossing and turning every couple of hours. I think he stopped taking them either because they interfered with his depression or interfered with another medicine he was taking for depression, so do talk to a doctor about it before taking it.

Just because I am a heretic doesn't mean that I am willfully ignorant of my religion nor do I claim to be something that I am not. I may see us as equals but we differ in understandings of our respective religions. Maybe one day you will stop claim titles you have not earned. I do not like the fact that you are desiring, or even hinting at, claiming to be a Wiccan High Priestess.
Edit: I respect your spiritual path but it upsets me that you are not being honest with yourself. If you wish to start a coven by all means, but please don't use a title you have not earned.

This isn't really a rant, more of a worry. My mom and my little cousin keep getting more and more sick. They're both dying and there's nothing I can do about it. My friend Nathan and sort of boyfriend is having troubles with the ACT and finding a job. All he needs to do is get into a good college and he'll be fine from there. They'll take care of him, for the most part. And John...oh John...he's worst out of all them. His dad is dying, he will have to take care of his little brother if worst comes to pass, also if so he'll most likely end up homeless and his brother in foster care considering he doesn't have a job. It's so hard to find jobs these days. Why is that? Is the world really that bad?
