Asher soon arrived at his grandfather's office and knocked. "Gramps, you in there? We really need to talk to you," he said as he tried to open the door. It was locked. Was the old man asleep? Or did he not want to be disturbed? When he thought about it, he felt sort of silly. Wasn't this equivalent to an ordinary kid talking about meaningless nightmares? Asher had no abilities, so his dreams probably didn't mean anything. "I guess he's asleep. Maybe we're just overreacting."

Leo wasn't sure they should just write it off as an overreaction, the coincidence was just to similar. "I don't know Ash, that's a pretty big thing to under react about." But at the same time he would rather not wake up Daniel, and from the sounds of it Asher wasn't able to open the office door. "Well....it is Thanksgiving. I'm sure it can wait until tomorrow right? I mean if they found us we'd already be in trouble. So why don't we just wait to tell him until tomorrow?" he asked softly, but the coincidence was going to remain in the back of his mind. "Besides, you have a turkey to make. Remember?" He asked with a teasing punch to Asher's arm.

"Yeah. Let's just focus on Thanksgiving," Asher said as he led Leo to the kitchen. He still couldn't help but shake the feeling that something was going to go terribly wrong either tonight or tomorrow. The one he was worried the most about was Raki. There was this feeling of dread when he thought about his biological brother.

He knew Asher was still thinking about that dream and he needed to distract him from it. "Come on, you have a whole twenty pound turkey to clean out and prepare a seasoning for. You work on that, I'll make some coffee." he said happily, practically dragging his brother downstairs to the kitchen. Everything else that needed to be made wasn't going to take nearly as long as the turkey so he let the rest of the house sleep for now.

Glad for some sort of distraction, Asher took the turkey from the fridge. Since it was frozen, he had to leave it in some water to thaw out for a few hours. In the meantime, he would start making some stuffing. Or anything else. There was so much to make for the Thanksgiving feast.

Luckily Leo knew how to make coffee since he usually made it every morning for Asher before he left for work. He started by changing out the coffee grounds before he filled the coffee maker with water and started the machine. "How do you think you'll make the turkey? There are lots of different options, glazes, spices, things like that!"

Asher hadn't really thought about that. He simply wanted to cook a regular old turkey. "I think I'll just brine and roast it. Simple stuff," he said as he chopped the stuffing ingredients. To brine it, he'll need some salt for the water. How much salt did this place have?

"Just an old fashioned brine? But thats boring!" he whined, but it was Asher's decision and Leo decided to live with it. "Oh well...I don't care how it's cooked. I'm just glad we get to spend it with all of our friends." he said softly, hugging his brother tightly.

"In my defense, this is my first time cooking a turkey," Asher said. Aside from that, the past few days were so crazy that he thought it would be nice to have something boring for once. "I'll make something more dynamic next year." He patted Leo's head and went back to making the stuffing.

Leo smiled and backed up from Ash so he could finish what he was doing. A few minutes later he heard the coffee pot stop brewing and assumed it was ready for people to drink. Bringing down four mugs for everyone and filling one two for himself and Asher, Leo jumped a little when he he heard Elsa's voice."I smelled coffee." Elsa mumbled as she entered the kitchen almost as silently as a cat, snatching one of the mugs Leo placed on the counter and filling it when Leo was finished. She wouldn't bother with a 'happy thanksgiving' just yet. Elsa loved these kinds of holidays but hated the prep work she put into it.

"Happy Thanksgiving!" Raki greeted as he burst into the kitchen. On his head was headband decorated with turkey feathers. He didn't plan on explaining where he got that. "Are you making food already? I wanna help!" He rushed over to the refrigerator to get the sweet potatoes needed to make candied sweet potatoes.

Elsa could have counted down the seconds until Raki ran into the kitchen. Grumbling, Elsa reached over and smacked Raki upside the head while he was at the fridge. "Be quiet, loud mouth!! You remember the last time you woke up Daniel? Jeeze you'd think by now you'd learned your lesson." she said softly, sipping her coffee as she sat at the kitchen table.

Raki yelped and rubbed his head. "Elsaaaa, you're so meeaaan!" he whined. He wondered how many brain cells he had lost with how many times she smacked him. Maybe that was why his spy skills seemed to have dropped as of late. After recovering, he got the sweet potatoes and all other Thanksgiving foods out of the fridge. "Today's gonna be an awesome feast!"

Elsa threw a deathly glare at Raki. "Cry baby. Take it like a man, would you?" she grumbled more, continuing to sip at her coffee before checking under the bandage around her arm. The scars were't healing all that well, they were still red and they itched like crazy. Elsa didn't pay any mind to it and simply left it alone. Leo smiled at the business of the kitchen all of a sudden. "What are you going to make for dinner Raki?" he asked curiously, hearing him taking out things from the fridge but he couldn't smell what they were.

Raki grinned towards Leo. "Candied sweet potatoes! We're also gonna have pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, corn, ham, all the traditional Thanksgiving food!" he exclaimed as he began cutting the sweet potatoes. "Big Brother wanted to make some deviled eggs, too. He said you liked them a lot." He saw Asher pause for a moment, almost as if he was embarrassed, before he continued making the stuffing.
