jets starting quarterback, chad pennington, is out for the season with a torn rotator cuff on his throwing shoulder! gonk its his second such injury in the last two seasons....... and to make it worse, veteran back-up, jay fiedler, was also injured on sunday's game.. he's out for the season too! gonk gonk
now its up to third year third-stringer, brooks freakin bollinger to man the helm startin this weekend at baltimore, whos defense is normally sickeningly good.
now who gets to back him up? none other than the super veteran, vinnie testaverde! gonk the 41 year-old ex-jets qb went into retirement this past offseason after backing up the dallas qb last season and backing up pennington for the previous two.
go jets!
