Sora grinned as Kairi took their bags from himself and Naminé, and Naminé helped to hold Riku up. It was then he noticed all the people staring at them, making him frown. How were they going to get anywhere without being bombarded by students, or teachers thinking they were playing hooky? Naminé seemed to be on the same wavelengths as him, as the students suddenly became uninterested in what they were doing. Naminé was probably manipulating their memories. She then opened a Corridor of Darkness, so he helped pull Riku inside right behind Kairi.

It wasn’t long until the group appeared in Naminé’s room. The blonde and Sora put Riku on her bed as Kairi set their bags down in a corner. He straightened himself up and turned his attention to Naminé as she spoke. She thanked them, making him shake his head.
”It’s no problem, Naminé,” he told her. ”He’s our friend too, you know.” He smiled warmly at her, but the smile disappeared as she continued. She told them that although she didn’t know what had done whatever it was they’d done to Riku, she wasn’t going to let them near him. She would put the light shield up herself, but because she was a Nobody, her light wasn’t as pure as his own and Kairi’s. He nodded, understanding. Kairi spoke up then, saying that they’d do anything to keep Riku safe and keep the bad things out. The brunette nodded in agreement.
”You don’t need to worry,” he told her firmly. ”We’ll make the strongest shield ever. No darkness will be able to get in! Well, except for our friends, of course. But you should keep your link open with Kairi. That way, if there’s any trouble, you can let her know and we’ll be here to help in no time.”

Sora didn’t intend on hanging around Naminé’s house after the barrier was finished. He had to find Roxas and make sure he wasn’t in trouble. Not that he didn’t trust Quest and Lakayna to be able to do it, but he wanted to help. Roxas was his Nobody after all. He was torn from his thoughts as Kairi turned to him, saying she was ready when he was.
”Alright,” he replied. ”Let’s do this.” He stepped forward and took the crimsonette’s hand and led her out of Naminé’s room. For the most effective shield, they’d have to be outside of the house so they could aim their light up at the center of the roof so it could spread around the whole building. He took his girlfriend out the door and stopped in front of the house, turning to face it. He let her hand go and the Keyblade flashed into his right hand. He grasped it with his other hand as well and aimed its tip at the center of the top of the house. He looked over at Kairi. ”I love you,” he smirked, feeling a warm light rush through his body, as well as the blood flow to his cheeks. This would surely create enough light to make a sturdy shield that would protect both Riku and Naminé.

Kairi smiled as Sora agreed with her and told Naminé that they'd make the strongest shield ever. He also told the petite blonde that she should keep her link with her Somebody open. That way if there was any trouble she could let the red head know, and they could come to help in no time.

When the Princess said she was ready, the brunette replied "Let's do this". The crimsonette gave Naminé one last smile as Sora took her hand and pulled her out of the room. He led her out the door and stopped in front of the house. If they aimed their light at the top of the building it would spread around it and create a more effective shield. The Keybearer let go of the red head's hand and faced the house, summoning his Keyblade. The Princess did the same, grasping Destiny Place tightly and aiming it at the roof. She then saw Sora look over at her and smirk, "I love you". Kairi felt her cheeks burn as she blushed, and felt the warm light in her heart spread about her body.
"I love you too," Kairi grinned over to him, and then a bright and powerful beam of light erupted from her Keyblade. She focused with all her heart on the beam, the shield beginning to take form. "We'll protect you Riku," Kairi softy whispered.

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Sora couldn’t stop himself from grinning stupidly as Kairi blushed from what he’d said. It was still a little strange to be so open about it, but he was loving it. It was nice to actually act how he felt. So when she told him that she loved him too, he could hardly contain the amount of light that surged from his heart. Luckily, he was able to concentrate it all into his Keyblade into a fine beam that shot from its tip. The light rocketed up towards the top of the house and collided with Kairi’s own light. When the two beams hit, it was like a big, bright firework went off. It spread over the house and formed a dome around the building, protecting it from any dark source that could try to get in. Having done a job well done, the brunette lowered his weapon. He felt a little bit of a pull in his heart from using all the light energy, but it was nothing to help protect his friends.

Sora turned back to Kairi, that silly smile still plastered on his face. He took a few steps to close the space in between them, then pulled her into his arms.
”All done,” he whispered to her, hugging her gently. ”You did great, as always.” He felt like he didn’t give Kairi enough credit most of the time. She was a very capable light-wielder and had proved that several times before. He just felt like he hadn’t made that clear enough to her. Well, he wanted her to know for certain now that he trusted her. After a moment, he let her go and dismissed his Keyblade, which he’d forgotten he was still holding.
”Well, should we head back to the school and see if we can find Roxas?” he asked. He knew that Kairi could contact Naminé through their link to let her know they were done and going off. But if the crimsonette wanted to stay behind a little bit longer, he was okay with that too.

The Princess saw that a beam of light had shot from the tip of Sora's Keyblade towards the top of Naminé's house as well. It collided with Kairi's light, making it seem as if a bright firework had gone of. Rays of light spread around the house making an impenetrable dome. Have successfully made the shield, the couple lowered their weapons. The crimsonette dismissed her Keybalde, taking a deep breath. She felt a little winded from using some much energy, but she was fine. She sighed then smiled at the Keyblade Master.

Kairi couldn't stop beaming and blushing at Sora. It was still a little strange being so open about their relationship, but it was so wonderful. Kairi loved it and it made her so happy. Her boyfriend stepped over to her and pulled her into his arms, hugging her gently. He whispered that they were all done and that she had done great like always.
"Thank you Sora. You were wonderful," the Princess whispered back hugging him tightly. She was glad that she could finally help. In the past she was always getting left behind, never really getting a chance. Now she was the one helping Sora protect their friends.

After a moment Sora let go of her and dismissed his Keyblade, then asked if they should head back to school to see if they could find Roxas.
"Yes," the crimsonette nodded, "Naminé and I have both been worried about him. Let's go find him and make sure he's okay. I'll tell Naminé we're leaving." Kairi smiled to Sora then thought to her Other, "Naminé. Sora and I are finished with the shield now. You and Riku will be safe. We're going to go look for Roxas. Let me know if Riku wakes up, or if anything else happens. We'll see you later!"

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

((Xia.Blaise? I have no idea if we are at the beach so i am posting at the beach!))
Skyler let go of her friends' hand. She lifted her head up and smelled the ocean air. She loved to be here if not at school. She reached down and picked up a shell and grabbed Xia's hand with her free hand. She set down the shell in Xia's palm. The shell was a heart like shape with alittle pink and blue. Skyler looked toward the sea,"Won't it be fun if we watched the sunset from the cliff?" She pointed to the cliff over looking the ocean."I mean not right now but after school. Then we can go and get ready for the dance? What do you think?" Skyler looked at her friends. Her eyes glittered making it look like the ocean when light hits it.

All our memories are never forgotten.....
They are only locked behind a door....

Quest felt a small tug at her heart and stopped briefly before following Lakayna. She frowned slightly and placed a hand over her heart as she walked. Something felt so out of place. She had no idea where to even start looking for the blonde nobody. Where would he be? She knew how Sora felt. Tesqux... She frowned a bit deeper. Would she be able to help? Ever since her own nobody had faded back into the darkness, she had never heard from her again. Maybe....? No. She shook her head. Tesqux was a being of darkness, and no matter how much of a situation she was in, she would not ask for her help. Besides, she wasn't even sure if their connection was still there.....She paused in her steps and looked up at the school. "Maybe we should split up?" She suggested to Lakayna. "We might be able to find him faster."

And when we find a key to that door....
We will remember.....

They continued to search even as the end of lunch loomed ever closer. Eventually, Quest stopped in her tracks, and Lakayna copied the motion absently. Quest suggested that the two of them split up to search for Roxas to cover more ground that way. Lakayna nodded. "Good idea," she suggested, starting towards the entrance into the school. Lakayna stopped when her hand was on the door, looking breifly over her shoulder towards Quest. "If anything happens and you need help, just shout my name as loud as you can. I'll hear and come running. Promise."

Without another word, the dragoness continued into the school, her footfalls gaining speed as she searched for Roxas, calling his name at various intervals. All the while, the lavendernette wondered in the back of her mind who Riku was doing; if Namine and the others that'd gone with them were okay. What she wouldn't give to have some kind of connection right at that moment. Not that she wanted to lose her heart to darkness, but Lakayna wished she could comminucate like Namine and Kairi could or Sora and Roxas (not knowing Roxas's connection to Sora had been completely severed).

((Sorry, school keeps me busy now.))

Blaise walks beside Sky. He watches the ocean, his eyes focused on the waves. "Sounds like a plan." He gets closer to the water. He picks up shells, and fumbles with them. "I'm up for that Sky." He finishes with the shells and hands Sky and Xia a charm made from it. "Here, this can symbolize our friendship, and a reminder that no matter what, We'll be there when one of us needs them most." He smiles and watches the waves again.

She closed her hand around the charm.
"Thank you. I wish I had something to give you guys, too, but..."
Xia smiles and shrugs.
"I'll be out here, though. Might not even go the last half of the day- who cares, anyway?"
She laughed, and laid back in the sand. Fluffy white clouds drifted by. The sunlight on her face felt wonderful.

Sora’s face had reddened slightly as Kairi had returned the embrace and told him that he was wonderful. He’d let her go then and suggested finding Roxas, to which she agreed. She said she would let Naminé know, so he gave her a moment to talk to her via their link. He decided to take this moment as well and try to contact Roxas again. Roxas, this is serious! he thought hard, as if yelling in his mind, if that was possible. We’re all worried about you! Weird stuff is going on, so you’d better cut this out so we can make sure you’re okay too! His brow had furrowed slightly, but once he was finished, he went back to his normal facial expression, wearing a smile and hoping that Kairi hadn’t noticed the slight frustration before.
”Should we go, then?” he asked her, but didn’t wait for an answer. He reached out and took her hand, entangling his fingers with hers and started to lead her down the street and back to Destiny High.

It didn’t take long for the couple to arrive back on the campus. Lunch was pretty much over, though a few slackers were still out and about, soon to be “captured” by teachers, no doubt. They would have to be careful unless they wanted to be reprimanded as well. However, the stragglers were not the people that caught Sora’s eye; instead, it was Quest, standing in front of the school, looking slightly conflicted. He’d thought Lakayna was with her, and as he approached, he saw her disappearing into the school. So they must have decided to split up.
”Hey, Quest,” he called to her. ”Not having any luck?” He gave her a weak smile, pulling to a stop next to her. ”Just so you know, Riku should be fine now. Naminé’s with him, and we put a barrier up to keep bad things out. So you can rest easy, okay?” He hoped that would lift her spirits, since she seemed to be very concerned about Riku when they’d found him unconscious. He loosened his grip on Kairi’s hand and angled himself so he could talk to both girls at once. ”Well… one of the only places we haven’t looked is the beach, right? Why don’t we head there?” He wondered why in the worlds Roxas would go to the beach, but maybe the crashing waves would calm him down. It seemed to have that effect on the brunette, so maybe it applied to his Nobody as well. It was worth a shot, at least, or so he thought.

Quest had been so lost in thought about Tesqux that she hadn't heard Sora approach her and jumped when she heard his voice. She looked up and saw him with Kairi. She gave them a weak smile and a small wave. "Unfortunately. We've been nearly everywhere, but there's no sign of him." She felt more relived when she heard that Riku was alright. But as soon as Namine came into the picture, the dark feeling returned. Still, she kept her smile. "Yeah okay." She turned to Kairi. "You're Kairi, right? I'm Quest." Even as the words left her lips, she knew it endangered her and risked her being found out. Glancing back at Sora, she nodded. "I suppose so. Lakayna already has the school grounds covered, so why not?"

Once Kairi had finished contacting Naminé through their link, she turned back to a smiling Sora. She grinned in response when he asked her if they should get going, and happily let him take her hand and lead her away.

The couple soon found themselves back on the campus of Destiny High. The crimsonette looked around and figured, by the lack of students, that lunch was over. There were a few stragglers though, so the bell had probably only just rung a few minutes prior to the pair's arrival. That was when Kairi noticed the girl from earlier. She was a little surprised that Lakayna wasn't with her, since they had gone to look for Roxas together, but guessed they had split up to cover more ground. Sora called to her, addressing her as Quest, and they walked over. She gave a weak smile and a small wave in response. The Keybearer asked her if she was having luck finding Roxas, and she sadly replied that there was no sign of him. Sora then told her she didn't have to worry about Riku since he would be okay now. The familiar girl smiled at this then turned to the Princess, asking her name and introducing herself.
"Yes, that's right. I'm Kairi. It's nice to meet you Quest..." Kairi beamed then trailed off. She looked puzzled for a moment then said, "Or should I say it's good to see you again? I know I've met you before. I'm sorry, I can't really remember anything, but I know in my heart that we've met."

The red head thought a moment trying to remember where and when she had met Quest, but her mind was blank. She sighed then looked to her boyfriend as he suggested that they look for his Other at the beach, since that was one of the only places they hadn't looked yet. Kairi smiled and nodded,
"Sounds like a good idea to me Sora."

Sora frowned slightly when Quest admitted they’d had no luck in finding Roxas, though he wasn’t surprised. In fact, he’d already gone ahead and made a suggestion to where they should search next. Before he got an answer, the two girls “met”, though Kairi said she felt like she’d met Quest before. He supposed it was because they’d all gone to school together before the Heartless had come and separated them all… but maybe there was more to it than that. Kairi was right; something in his heart told him they’d met the girl before too, but he couldn’t figure out why that was so important. Well, that was probably Quest’s story, and though he’d love to hear it, he wasn’t going to force her to explain anything and now wasn’t the time anyway. What was important was finding Roxas and making sure that he was alright.

Finally, Sora’s suggestion was approved. Quest replied first, saying she supposed so as well and that Lakayna had the school grounds covered. He nodded, knowing that he could count on Lakayna to get the job done around here. She was strong and fast, so if anything went wrong, she’d be able to get to them in no time flat or protect herself if need be. Kairi agreed next, telling him it was a good idea. He looked between the two girls and took in a breath.
”Alright, then,” he began, taking a step away from the school and towards the boundaries again. ”Let’s go to the beach and see what we can find.” He wasn’t certain if they were going to find trouble or not. He hoped that Roxas was okay, wherever he was. It would make things so much simpler if he’d just open their link back up. What had caused him to close it off in the first place? The only way he was going to get that answer was if he found the Nobody himself, so the brunette started to lead the way around the west side of the school and towards the beach.

((Kind of a crappy transition post, sorry. By the way, the beach we go to won't be the same one the villains are at, of course!))

Having decided to search the beach for Roxas, Sora began to lead the way to the beach and said for them to go and see what they could find. "Right," Kairi nodded looking determined as she followed her boyfriend, Quest behind her.

The crimsonette was still annoyed with herself for not being able to recall Quest. If the other red head knew why she couldn't remember, she hoped she'd tell her. Kairi wouldn't push her for answers though. If Quest walked to talk about it, she let her do it on her own. The Princess pushed those thoughts aside for now and focused on the matter at hand, Roxas. Kairi looked over to Sora with a concerned face and asked,
"Still nothing from Roxas? I know he must be pretty upset at the moment, Naminé said he had ran away from her, but you'd think he would have said something to you by now. He has know that we're all worried about him. I really hope he's okay and something hasn't happened to him like with Riku..."

Quest's smile grew weaker as Kairi said that she recalled her from before. She knew the couple were frustrated that they couldn't remember her, and it hurt somewhat to see them that way. 'When the time comes, I'll tell you....But for now, I'm sorry....' She thought to herself and looked at the keybladers from the back. They hadn't changed all that much. She had, though. The darkness had affected her a lot... That was probably partly why they couldn't remember.....
