 Goosie tiredly held her hand to the DRK pendant and then opened a portal, giving Bristan one last guilty look before turning and walking through it with the paper in hand.

 Bristan woke up, still in his clothes, and looked around. He must've fallen asleep. And Goosie was missing... again? He gave a deep sigh and went back to his Gee Boi Turbo, trying to take his mind off it.

 Laulella ported in and saw Bristan playing on his game, before getting up and tackling him into a hug."Bristan!""Didn't think you were coming back!" Bristan grinned, excited to see a familiar face.

Lella: Of course I was! Have you been here all this time...?
Bristan: ... Well I can't exactly move, can I?
Lella: ... Fair point. She hesitated for a second.
Bristan: What's up?
Lella: I'm sorry for asking but... Have you seen Kami around here? He's... gone missing.
Bristan: Erm... Yeah, he's been around here for a while now.
Lella: Are you serious? His mom's going crazy back there... He needs to go back.
Bristan looked miserable for a moment.
Bristan: ... Can he not stay just a bit longer?
Lella: Not right now honey... Sorry... His mom's saying she's coming here to drag him back if he's not in Pandora soon... I'll try and arrange something so he can come visit another time, okay?
Bristan: I... guess so. I'll... come help you find him then, I guess...
With that, the mother and son left the bunkers towards the main level.

Goosie lead the way into the bunkers, standing aside so that the new guy could come in and get a look around. "U-um, basically if you see stuff the bed is probably taken...oh, and that one there, the top bunk...? Uhh...don't pick that one, just trust me...a...friend...uh...just don't sleep in it."

 "I would probably be better off not knowing," he said. "While we are here. . ." He made his way down to an empty bed. He removed the hat and katana from his person, setting them across the bed. He kept the cloak both because it was comfortable, and it hid the results of several days of not shaving --  "This will be something to get used to," he said, making his way back to the helpful woman. "Also, my name is Michael, but I prefer Val."

"Oh! I'm, um, Goosie. Nice to meet you, um...Val, right?" Goosie asked somewhat distractedly, having already taken a moment to scan the bunker for any sign of Phyx and seeming a bit disappointed at not having found one.

"You seem distracted, Goosie." He said, watching her movements closely. "Looking for somebody? Avoiding somebody? Perhaps I make you uncomfortable." Val noticed that the young woman had been acting a bit weird since they first ran into each other.

"Huh?" Goosie looked back at Val, realizing what he meant after a pause and saying a quick "Oh--um--no, no, um, you're fine...my friend was thinking about leaving, I guess. I don't know where she went, so um...maybe she did after all." She sighed a bit. Phyx was one of her closest friends here and in spite of not liking the facility, she really found herself dreading going without yet another friendly face.

"I am sorry to hear that," he said. "I know we just met, but I am looking for a friend. Perhaps that is something that we could work towards." This facility was huge. He was alone, and fairly sure that he could not get very far here on his own. "Your friend could return, absence does not always mean good-bye."

"Being friends?" Goosie seemed to brighten a little at the suggestion, "Sure, um, I love having new friends!" She sobered up as she mulled over what he'd said last, though "...Oh...yeah, I guess so...she's been through some really rough stuff, I can't blame her if she wants to get away from the reminders, though. Maybe she'll stay. I guess either way I can see her if I, um, wanna."

He was not sure what else to say on the matter, being personal was never one of his better traits. Instead, "So tell me, friend, what is there to eat around here?" He had been walking for days with little more than a bottle of water in his personal inventory. He felt fine, overall, but he could use a bit of fuel.

Goosie looked down at the plate of food she'd carried in from the main level and then giggled a bit, "Um, you mean like this?" she asked, offering the rest to him, "It's fine, I only got it from the cafeteria today."

Fighting himself to avoid the cookies, he picked up one of the sandwich wedges, holding it at eye level to examine the contents before eating it. "I am not sure if I can identify everything that you put on this sandwich, but it tastes good all the same," he said, after swallowing. He was not quite used to finger food.

Goosie giggled, finding the man's strange manner amusing. "U-um, I didn't make it, silly, the cafeteria always has food around. I'm sure it isn't, like, dangerous though! Here--help yourself, I'm full." She handed the plate over to him.
