Zahar went under the water right after him rolling off of him and onto her back. Oh no... Is he all right? She struggled to get onto her feet looking down into the water for SK. Bad things. Always bad things around me. I am a curse in itself! Her weight was placed on her good leg as she waited a moment not knowing what to do.

Kataio was staring at one wall her back to Aricin. "Hey come take a look at this one. It shows not only the Maqurade people on land but something else below what I believe is water." Her eyes grew wider with excitment. In mosaic tiles there was a scene of some land dwelling people in fine clothing next to a water edge. Part of the picture was covered in a reddish brown hue, maybe a rust stain? But from what. Kata shrugged to herself and continued examining the picture. She heard scuffing and figured that it was just Aricin moving to come see what she did on her side. But it wasn't really Aricin.

he laughed heartliy and kissed her forhead, " you are sweet to worry m'lady, but i can take a lot of abuse, sometihng such as that is but a trifle to one such as.." he wasout of the creek and pushing his way through the thick brush on the other side useing zahars but and hip as a barrier as it were, the branches had no thorns and were very flexable so he knew it would prbably only tickle her more then anything. jsut as he stepped in through the other side of the brush he heard a creek and tried to look at his feet. he could see nothing as zahars body, while sleek and slender, was still enough to block his view. he didnt wnat to take another step but his back foot was begining to slind downt he embankment ont he mud so he steped forward and a large crack was heard, "... meeeeee... OOOFFF!

he landed hard on his chest and his head his stone, and then zahar landed atop him, and he felt the side of her hip and most of herlegs land on his legs and rump. she was still in a tucked position from the way he carried her. her shoulder and mask landed on hishis his upper back neck and he lay there trying to catch his wind as it had SURELY been knocked out of him. at least zahars fall was not so bad as his he thought, then it occured to him how much he acctually must care fore this young woman.

he groaned and pushed him self up with his arms and spit out some debdris. he felt warm blood rolling down the right side of his face and one of his legs had an abrasion of some sort to. there were numerous scratches on his chest that casued that tiny burning sensations. he rolled over and sat legs out so he could see zahar, "sorry, shoulda watched where i was walking," he looked to his leg notin the board that was logged there. he saw the head of a nail an knew thats why his leg hurt so much. he casually pulled out, the board grunting as he did so and tossed it aside, the nail coevered in blood. at least it was a fairly thin nail he thought. he stood and streched and tested his leg byt jumpin g a few times. other then bleeding and a bit of pain it was ok. he then looked up. they had fallen about 15 feet or so he guessed. to high for him to jump anyway. he then looked to zahar and smiled, " always and adventure with me around eh? bit more exciting then castle walls?" he chucked and cracked his neck to one side, " you alright?"

he chuckled again and poked his ribs, "no broked ribs this time, when i came to this world, weeeellll now, there was a fall," he laughed again. he was sore, but it was nothing new nor as bad as many other times he had been hurt, " well guess we should get a move on, get on my back again, ok?" he crouched so that she could.

he shruged, and then wiped the blood from his face and waited for her to illuminate the areas, "im fine, a flesh wound like that wont even hamper my moving speed, but as you wish, this will leave me unhampered should we run into anything hostile."

"naw, dont worry, make it as bright as you want the brighter the better if we are using light. i'll jsut keep my eyes from using infravision. the more light we have the more we can see. if you keep it small you will be a beakon. so make it as bright as you can," he streched some more listening the stillness of this tunnel and noting the rank smell of long dead corpses, "people have died or been laid to rest here, watch your footing. in tombs in my experiances... well there can be a lto of traps. and judging by the floor things still live down here... well maybe not live but move around," he smiled and drew his katana, and motioned her to come when she was ready, " shall we embark?"

Aricin turned too excited to really notice the extremely large mass skittering rappidly towards them, aimed at the torch, he could just barely see the epic Kata was describing over her shoulder, "That stain looks like bloo-!" He was caught behind the knees and dropped the torch witch thankfully was still burning when it hit the floor or else he never would have seen the ROUS raise up on its hind legs and start making vicious noises at he and Kata. He could feel Kata turning under him to adress the insult, when his hands finally began to draw out his left nine as the right one was pressed rather intimately between Kataio and himself.
