So, I know this might be a little late, but I've been building all this up for a while, and figure it's finally time to share. whee
For the last nine months, Rae and I were roommates. We had a lot of ups and downs, but it was pretty fun over all. Definately an experience. Unfortunately, I've had to move home due to monetary issues before going off to seminary in fall 13. And, well, the other big thing.
I put in my two weeks notice at the grocery store today whee . Pretty excited to finally get a chance to look for work outside of being a clerk. It also opens up the opportunity to do a lot of research and visiting to campuses for next fall. Currently looking at a lot of locations, but Brite in Texas, and Claremont in California are strong front runners. Also considering some divinity schools in the south and north east.
I've got a short story I'm working on, feels great to be writing again, looking forward to having meals at regular intervals in the day and building a relatively stable sleep cycle.
In short, progress is being made, at long last, despite setbacks. So many things I want to do, so many certifications I want to get, I am legit excited.

Right? biggrin I consider myself pretty devote, but I also keep it pretty low key. If it doesn't come up, I usually won't approach the subject. I like it that way, and it seems most everyone else does too.

All of them. All the time. So good crying You know, you would be pretty close to all that hiking if you came out to Claremont. In fact, Claremont is just south of all those mountains and just east of some even more amazing mountains. I want to live in Claremont... crying
