My brother's started playing The Third.

The descent has begun.

The soul-ectomy actually isn't necessary. The three years you have to spend in law school and the bar studying actually takes care of that for you by twisting what little soul isn't ground to dust into a horribly vindictive sliver of its former self. XD

And I haven't picked it up yet, but it's on the list of things I may be getting when Christmas comes around.

There were certainly some times during the several month wait where I was getting somewhat freaked out that I just missed a major part or something else went wrong. XD

But I did have quite a few friends who I definitely expected to pass who will have to retake it in February. I feel so bad for all of them.

I feel the need to make sure that everyone here is fully aware of the menace that is The Martian Bear.

Fact of the day: When torches are available, you grab them.

I used to get freaked out entering dark spaces in MUDs, because I would always suspect a Grue.

Exactly the kind of thing I'd expect a grue to say. Fortunately, I've got a great way to expose you for the adventurer-eating monster you are.

Zero, Psy! We've got someone here possibly impersonating a Gaian on their own account! You should investigate as to whether this is Kin or a grue by driving on over to his place (bring plenty of snacks and remember to pee first; I understand it'll be a hell of a drive) and checking physically. Since he may have anti-torch countermeasures bring a candle... what're the odds it'll blow out, leaving you in the dark... figuratively (and literally... and lethally speaking).

I feel a lot better knowing those two are on the case.


Please, I may be a cold, cruel, heartless monster who consumes the hearts, minds, and souls of others in an orgy of gore and destruction, but I draw the line somewhere. Why you gotta hate, bro?


Oh, Kin... the Z-Style pack (reskinned shotgun and sweet pimp suit) and Explosive pack (decent futuristic military armor and sweet sticky-grenade launcher) are out already. And it's looking like Genkibowl is hitting in early January, since the trophy/cheevo listings are already out.

So I've finally started to get a regular paycheck, and my money situation should even out within the next month. I might be able to look into getting Live then.
