Tacitus I am well aware there are other Baal references outside D2, but I was speaking of a specific case when I mentioned Baal previously. And Omi, Tac ticus is not Tac itus. Thats not an extra T, thats dyslexia and adding a C. Well?
Tactic-us > Tacitus. What, you have a proboscis now!? YOUR ARGUMENT IS OVER! Winner? America. [Small pile of graffiti falls & crushes your body in patriotic goodness.] :Flex:

Typhoon_Omi Balder's Gate? +10 Kudos if you delved into II. One of these days I'm going to do this. http://www.weidu.org/iwg2/index.html...because IWDII just had a better stat/battle/leveling system than BG, but BG had the epic story.

Oh, f'shur... though I think it's closed up. It's been a long time since those games came out, and as awesome as they are, I dunno if people'd be working on mods for them like 5-6 years after they come out. BGII was awesome to play because it had all the quests, the stories, the sidequests, and everything like that while executing the play well. IWDII was awesome to play because it was you vs. the world with a great interface. There was just something satisfying about standing amidst a horde of fallen corpses. xd That screencap doesn't look like much, but that's every enemy on the map, at once. So many died that the bodies just layered over each other, there's probably close to a hundred there. ...funny thing about playing through the game solo, it's hard at the beginning since you've got 1/6 of the power that they recommend you use, but then you're getting 6x the exp and by the middle (pictured above) an army couldn't stop you... until you get high enough level that the enemies stop giving EXP, at which point it starts getting hard again near the end. I don't think I finished the game, I've still got the save file at the end, with me in their base, killing their mans. I was planning to take it solo through Heart of Fury mode, too... Yeah, I'm sure I'll hit the EXP cap fast on that and then be ******** for the rest of the game. blaugh

Hell, look at Doom the original & Morrowind III; I still see thousands of mods released for those in the ol' modern age. =P
And I couldn't agree more on BGII. I was a Shadow of Amn player, mehself. Sadly, never got to touch any of the IWD series.. pity, that - but I may check it.
..And wow. That does appear to be a lot - though, after running a private server on eAthena for RO, I'd say my perception of "a lot of corpses" has forever been ruined.
5,000,000 giant-as-Hell boss-property monsters on the screen at once, spawned in larger-than-normal proportions, all slain with one command. Just their deaths caused such a giant a** explosion of death to wave across the screen, it was insane; then, you had the drops flowing like an ocean.

Man... MGS3 is really hard compared to the other two.
A lot of sequels have been getting tough lately. MGS3 pwns the other ones, DMC3 was called 'the hardest game ever made' by one of those magazines, and the latest Tenchu game kicked my a** in retribution for how hard I wailed on all the other ones.
GRR.

Let it be known to all:
My disdain for Dreslin grows with each stupid question that winds up in my PM box. mad
...not that I have any REAL issues with him, I'm just sick of getting really stupid questions.

Shouyin I CAN'T BEAT AGNI AND RUDRA, GOD DAMN IT. That one's actually pretty easy if you don't mind being cheap. Just do nonstop helmbreakers. ******** them up. Though try and keep their health bars even so they don't go into super mode when one dies.

Man, DMC3 was hard... it was like Dante Must Die mode in DMC1... except that this was on normal difficulty. And there's like three levels of difficulty ABOVE that. gonk
Though yeah, no boss in DMC3 came close to being as much of a b***h as the third Nelo Angelo and the third Nightmare in the first game on Dante Must Die mode.
Seriously... You get hit twice and you die, you hit him ONE THOUSAND TIMES before he dies.
...totally worth it though. Glowing Dante is badass. Infinite DT. heart

DMC3 was awesome.
The only really difficult part however was that b*****d Beowulf boss or whatever he's called. Big ugly sod with wings.
I stopped playing DMC1 after beating Hard mode, because despite being a badass game I get bored of doing the same thing over and over again. D= I should try DMD mode again sometime.

Vincent. V Ex-~ I should try DMD mode again sometime. It's ******** INTENSE. The bosses, totally, the enemies notsomuch unless you get locked in a room with a shadow that goes DT on you. Dear god those things rape so much a**. You pretty much have to play it the same way you play DMC3... keep trying until you can do the entire fight without getting hit.

Ya know what.. I think that the two combatants who move on from those remaining first round battles should go into the second round with limited rest time and no recovery time.
Just for holding us up. mad

It's a 90% chance that whoever they're paired up against is Gelmax, which means they go straight to round 3 anyways.
