Liv looked out the window and blatantly ignored Sil's sparkling, romance-filled eyes as well as her almost satisfied smile. She knew exactly what the other woman was thinking, and she felt her cheeks start to warm from embarrassment. She wondered if Sil would accept 'kids say the darndest things' as an excuse, but she doubted she'd get away so easily as that. She tried to tune out the conversation and watched as the carriage rolled past citizens on the street going about their shopping and other business.
Luci was oblivious to the secret conversation the two women were having with little gestures and glances, and continued to chirp away, "I can tell you right now! I was a parrot because Mr. Mishka picked me up just like Uncle Lavi did and I made a 'squawk squawk!' noise, so he asked me if I was a parrot! He wouldn't take no for an answer so I didn't have a choice. That was the day we went to get ice cream together, me, Mr. Mishka, and mommy~"
She looked at Lavi when Sil mentioned how sad he was, but she didn't think he looked very broken-hearted. Nevertheless she jumped up and plopped down on the other side of him, wrapping her arms around his and clinging, "Well he did say I'm his favorite girl~ Are you all better now Uncle Lavi?" She looked up at him with her large blue eyes, batting her little eyelashes in an obvious and excessive manner.

Liv smiled when she spotted Mishka reading, and when he immediately looked up and started to make his way over her stomach gave a small, brief flutter. She reached her hand out and touched is arm gently in greeting, "Mishka," she let her hand fall away and placed it gently on Hyber's head, giving her a small pat. "This is Hyber, and she's new to me, too. She's only been here about a week, isn't that right?" she looked down at the young girl and gestured to Mishka, "This is the first friend I want you to meet today. He's a doctor. I thought maybe you could get a checkup, just to make sure everything is okay. Would that be alright?" She looked between the two a little and waited with anticipation, hoping Hyber would acquiesce to her request.

"Hmm... you toy with my feelings, Luci," Lavi whined dramatically when she joined their side of the carriage, not responding to her clinging, "but you are my favorite girl, so I can't say no." He smiled and wrapped an arm around her.
