"Well, she certainly taught you well. Your hair is always lovely and well-kept, really," she moved to the far side of one of the carriage benches and left a space in between her and Sil for Luci to sit. At the mention of cutting hair, Liv looked at Sil with wide, incredulous eyes, "Don't you dare! It would be a terrible shame for you to cut off those curls! You have a fine time keeping them out of the way when you need to, so there's no reason to cut your hair."
Luci squealed again as Lavi threw her over his shoulder and carried her towards the cab. This wasn't the first time something like this had happened, and she started to squirm around, "Uncle Laviii! You can't be a pirate! Mr. Mishka is the pirate and I'm his parrot, so you can't be!" she giggled and continued to wriggle in his grasp. As he set her down in front of the cab she quickly climbed up and jumped in between her mother and Sil, taking up all the space left on that side's bench. "Girl's only on this side~"

Liv's wide eyed reaction made Sil laugh disbelievingly. "It's just hair... When I was thinking about it, I thought I needed a change... but in the end it wasn't the change I needed. Would have felt nice, though."
Once Luci was inside with Lavi, Sil couldn't help but smile fondly at the interaction. The way Lavi was around Luci had always given her a terrible case of the warm and fuzzies, though she never let her mind wander as far as to discover why. Wherever those thoughts would have led her were thoughts better left in the dark. At the mention of Mishka, Sil's face was overcome with a fox-like smile. "Ohhh, so Mr. Mishka is a pirate-doctor with a Russian accent, is he? He really does sound like the main character of a romance novel...~"
As she was wedged between, she gave a sympathetic laugh to her abandoned boyfriend. "Aww Luci, you can't leave him lonely and stranded over there! It wasn't his fault he was born a boy," as the carriage lurched forward onto it's journey, Sil carefully traded sides to settle next to Lavi to keep him company. "I guess I'm a boy now too~"

"What?" Lavi frowned as his pirate-persona was forbidden to him by Luci, "What does that leave for me, then?" He flopped down on the opposite seat to which he was exiled for being a male, crossing his arms. "You're being unfair to me today, Luci. After I promised to take you out on a proper date, even." He dramatically held a hand to his heart as if she'd hurt him terribly. When Sil settled next to him he smiled and decided to comment on the conversation she was having with Liv. "I agree with Liv, your hair looks nice long."

Liv pursed her lips a little and was glad to hear Sil wasn't still thinking about cutting her hair. She briefly wondered when this 'change' she was talking about was, but let the thought slip away just as quickly as it had come. At Sil's mischievous smirk and commentary, she bristled and and shot Sil a warning look, declining to comment on the subject.
Luci however was quick to pipe up and she looked at Sil with a slight tilt to her head, "The main character in a romance novel..? Like a story about falling in love~?" her eyes sparkled at the thought of such a fairytale. Her little mind hadn't made any kind of real connection yet, assuming this entire conversation was nothing but fun and games. She thought back to New Zealand again and continued to blab without a moment's hesitation, "Mommy would be the lovely Lady who got kidnapped~ That's what they said last time when we played pirates, on vacation!"
Liv immediately let out a strangled noise at Luci's utterance, "No, that's not- we weren't playing pirates..."
Luci was completely perplexed by Liv's odd behavior, but didn't bother to try and suss it out just then. Being in such company was far too distracting right now, and everything that got said left her memory within a minute. She turned her attention back to Sil and Lavi, and grinned at the sight of them next to each other. "You look cute together like that, even if you're a boy now, Miss Sil~"

"Okay then, further up I go!" Once she'd gotten to a relatively stable branch near the top of the tree, she'd stopped, slightly tugging at a branch above her and finding that she didn't trust it to hold her weight. She debated on if she should look down at him from her position, but quickly shook the worry and listened to him attentively. "I got it... So, that one over there would probably be good..."
Kiah set her sights on a branch that didn't seem too far away on the tree across from the one they were in now, slowly standing up from the crouched position she'd been in. She stared at it for a long time, determining that it would hold her weight and glad to see that there were a few others around it she could use to catch herself. She braced herself with her hand on the trunk of the tree, refusing to look down this time. "Well, here goes nothing!"
Running as far along the branch as she dared, Kiah launched herself over to the next branch, heart beating frantically in her ears. She managed to land on the branch without slipping, but her body was tilting forward more than she was comfortable with. Holding her arms out and waving them, she attempted to right herself again, lurching forward and grabbing a branch in front of her before she could fall over. "Haha... That was a close one..." (( But I don't know if I could forget no matter what happened.. ))
He looked to where she was aiming for and nodded before looking up at her. He watched her take a little time to deliberate before making her move. He was at the ready in case she lost her balance, his eyes keenly trained on her movements. His heart skipped a beat in his chest as she made the leap, and he was relieved when she steadied herself and succeeded.
"It was, but it was your first shot. You can only get better from here."
He gave her a small, encouraging smile before deftly making his own jump, landing below her with ease, his movements fluid and skilled.
