Ukaia_Dorei Ukaia smiled sheapishly "It's just.. i have this magic itching to get out and.. all i can do is heal a couple wounds" she said with a sigh "It's hardly anything compared to everyone else.. and i wish i could do more.. Tomo held his hand against his chest. "'Hardly anything'?" He asked in disbelief. "That hurts, Uka." He murmured, boiling some water. "And why are you calling yourself useless because of your magic? Until recently, Baizou had no active powers. Does that make him useless?"

Juno shrugged. "Ok. Well, I hope you find it soon. I'll be right back. I'm going to check up on that blasted imp Wren and make sure she got to her room ok."

"No using logic on me onii san it's not fair" she said wiggling her finger at him in a No no way
"Besides.. Lil.. Ba" she stopped short her eyes wide
"Has he come home yet?" she asked suddenly

"The keystone... aha!" Cerri declared in triumph, pulling out the artifact; she'd nearly forgotten it. "It will feed her strength, now that she needs it so badly. It did the same for me, when I was under the curse. It may even help the coma." She stood and looked at Arlen, smiling warmly as she offered it to him. "Could you tuck that into one of her hands please?" She nodded to Juno as he spoke, and blew him a kiss. "I'll see you in a bit."

Tomo smirked and handed her a cup-a-noodle. "I'm sorry. I made sense again, didn't I?" He asked with an innocent smile. He perked his ears at her second question, "Bai? He's not here. Why? Did he step out?"

Juno grinned as he caught the kiss in his outstretched hand and dissappered into the dark hallway.

Arlen took the keystone and looked at it. He hadn't seen it since their vacation. The happy memories caused him to start sobbing lightly. "Is Lily going to die?" he asked Cerri, not looking up from his keystone.

"Not if I can help it." Cerri answered firmly, though her expression was gentle as she reached out to touch his shoulder. "But Arlen... I don't know. It's hard to say. There's every reason to hope, but... I need her to help me research. If she doesn't wake up from the coma, there isn't much that I can do."

"You can do it." Cerri told him, stepping forward to hug him again, heart aching. "I know you can; you aren't giving yourself enough credit. You have a world of strength inside, I can tell. I really think that the keystone will help break the coma. It's worth a shot, right?"

Arlen sniffed and nodded. "I can't stand watching her die," he said. "It hurts everytime I see her get worse."

"If you want," Cerri began carefully, looking into his face. "I can take her to my town house. You won't have to see her." she offered, stroking a hand over his brow.

Juno sneaked into Wren's room. Her crutches lay discarded on the floor next to her bed, and she lay among a tangle of patched and worn blankets. Juno did his best to straighten both her andteh blankets out, being gentle with her. He shook his head at how stubborn she was earlier. Thats when he noticed the bruises. Many large purple and yellow blotches under her arms where she supported nearly all her weight on the crutches. He laid damp cloths with a little of his special ointment on her underarms, and kissed her forehead before quietly closing the door.
