Camwen While browsing Reddit.com I came across this pic of the Harry Potter characters in anime. It's interesting... and a little strange. Anime has this way of making everyone look like little kids. http://i.imgur.com/A9o5X.jpgHere's the Disney version: http://i.imgur.com/wLooJ.jpg I've found that anime/manga style fanart for Harry Potter is pretty common, actually. The anime-style Doctor Who was weird. razz But damn, I really like that first one. Everyone's beautifully rendered. And why does Bill stand out so much as a sexy badass? cool I think Hermione looks too young and generic. Most of the others actually look like them, or at least like their actors.

In other news, Amy Winehouse died. So sad. I'm a fan of her music, and it's a real shame she didn't make more.

Not really a surprise unfortunately but very very sad. Only 27 years old and so talented. She joined the 27 -club. *sigh* I actually liked her voice and she could of been a good singer if she could of stayed out of the drugs. I'm not sure if it's been much in the news there but there was a big ... well ... slaughter in Norway on friday. The body count is constantly increasing and now it's already at 92. I think it's the one of the biggest act of violence in the peace time here in Europe. The person who did it was a christian conservatist so not the first one you would think of doing an attack. Apparently he didn't like the way politicts were running the country so he set a bomb on Oslo, the capitol of Norway. Then when police and the army was all concentrating on that, the man went to a near by island that was hosting a youth camp and he started to shoot the children in there. He was dressed as a police and managed to gather around the childer and then opened the fire on them. *shudder* And he thinks he's a some kind of a hero now. scream

Yes I've been following what 's been happening in Norway. They say it's the most deadly attack there since World War II. My heart really goes out to them.

Ok this I want to hear rofl .. when you have the time of course. wink Well i've still got a few minutes But essentially my in laws have a farm, and I'm helping to house sit (because it's closer to work) ((and better for partying because there are no neighbors)) anyway, The downside being these crafty goats continually find new ways out of their pen... every day I've been here i've come home to a goat (not the same one mind you) out by my car waiting to be chased until he//she is captured then dragged back to the pen... after being put away they're generally content to stay inside the rest of the night... but after this I've decided that I'm not exactly fond of goats... and I'll never farm animals that are faster than me... that's a bad idea...

This made me giggle a bit. whee My grandmother had one summer some goats and man those things are smart and like greased lightnings when they get to their heads that they don't want to go back to the pen. I think it's some kind of a goat thing.

yea I got smart with it today... I waited until he got on the side of the car closest to the pen, and I Stood in the way of the only exit, opened the pen and started the car alarm...
it worked pretty well...

Apparently goats don't just run away. My father was out running one time (we were visiting some relatives who lived out in farmland) and 3 or 4 loose goats started to chase him down the road. He says they kept after him for almost a mile. I don't know what they would have done if they caught him. razz
@Davis - I'm guessing the car alarm really freaked it the heck out! lol

They don't "run away" they follow you. I had people that lived one house up from where I use to live that had a goat that escaped from their yard once. Lil bugger almost followed me home. That what happens when you feed the poor thing every day after school...
