(( Yeah, me too. I've had trouble with them before e.e And it ended up that I did EVERYTHING possible, but it STILL wasn't working, so I thought maybe that particular ISP was the problem. But all the clients have that same ISP because out there where they live, it's the only one they can get.
But then we figured out it may have been Tim's old router, and he has a new one. So we haven't had problems since then, but we'll see. ))

(( Oh, if you haven't had any problems, then I would worry too much! : O Old routers tend to be the biggest problem for any type of connections... at least in my experience... XD ))

(( Yup. The house I'm going to is really nice. I'll also have two new doggies for you to see, and I'm taking my actual camera, so no crappy phone pictures, lol. I might take pictures of the house too cause it's just sooo nice...it's on the lake and they have an indoor lap pool, one of the ones with jets to swim against. Their shower alone is half the size of my entire bedroom...oommggg. ))

Sil wasn't sure she believed that they were speaking so innocently about her, but after a glowering moment she settled back down into her original intended spot. Whatever god had decided she had to bruise her right shoulder was sworn at internally, but come hell and high water she was going to cuddle with Lavi if it was the last thing she did. Plus, Sil could have sworn the warmth of his body heat emanating through his shirt acted like a warm water bottle, lessening the dull ache. "There is no guilty conscience here. I have been very, very good lately. You know I have," she maintained her angelic, holier-than-thou expression, until she managed to think of a way she might have been a little bad, but would not be mentioning that out loud. Her expression might have hinted at her guilt. "If anything I expect you've been getting into trouble while I've been gone. I know you wait until I'm out of the castle to let out your bad boy side."
At the mention of parents, Sil tilted her head thoughtfully, regarding the young woman. "Me? Really? Why me?" She blinked cluelessly, as if the concept of someone wanting her to meet their parents was utterly foreign. In the same vein of thought, it was an utterly foreign concept. "Also, you're full of s**t. No one uses the term," she paused, batting her eyelashes whistfully like a maiden in love, hand dramatically falling to rise with chest as she heaved a love sick sigh-- an impression of Liv, of course, "wonderful... Over a cake and dance. A cake and dance is fun at best... perhaps fantastic, but never wonderful."
"Hmm... if you say so...," Lavi gave her a skeptical, not entirely convinced look as she settled back against him, his arm finally resting lightly along her shoulders, "The lady doth protest too much, me thinks. And I never get into trouble, I have no idea what you're talking about." He waved his other hand dismissively, adopting a virtuous expression himself. "I am innocence itself."
He watched Sil's little display with an amused smile. "Are fantastic and wonderful that different...?" he wondered out loud, the two words sounding like perfect synonyms to him, musing on that for a few seconds before shaking the useless thought from his mind. "Regardless, she's right. That's an awfully strong adjective for dancing and cake. Unless it was, like, the best cake ever made in the history of cakes."

"Because, you're my best girlfriend...and my parents have wanted to meet you for a while now. And I've wanted you to meet them," she replied simply, thinking no further explanation was needed.
Liv chewed her lip as she continued to avoid any direct eye contact with her two friends. She rested back against the couch and folded her hands in her lap, playing with her skirt again. She thought about it for a long moment, wondering if it was even worth lying and pretending like there was nothing special to her about the previous night. She sighed a little through her nose before she finally answered, "...The cake was the best cake ever in the history of cakes...but...I also had a really nice evening dancing and spending time with Mishka...." She could feel a tiny blush creep up on her cheeks again just from uttering his name, and couldn't stop the fond smile that played up the corners of her lips as it left them.

Sil audibly snorted with a roll of her eyes at Lavi's angelic manner. "Let me just have a chat with Bookman about that. I'm sure he also agrees you're a perfect little angel~" She grinned at him cheekily, nudging herself a little closer to him in an affectionate manner, settling easily with his arm around her shoulder. Even such small affection was nice in public, something she sorely missed about having an open relationship.
As for the discussion over meeting parents, Sil simply blinked, then a flush crept up on her over the words that Liv had chosen. It had been a very long time since someone had called her a best friend other than Lavi, and she had practically forced him into that position whether he liked it or not. "Oh," she said quietly, thoughtfully. "Well, sure, I'd love to. Just let me know when and I'd be happy to accompany you. You'll have to help me find some suitable clothes for parental sensibilities, though..."
As they returned to the subject that had her so keenly interested, she shook her head vehemently. "Of course they're different," Sil exclaimed to Lavi as if it were the most obvious statement she could have made. "Female is a legitimate language, you know. Inflection and word choice are everything." Liv backed up her words with her sentence and Sil made a girlishly excited noise that expressed her glee over Liv's statement. Her eyes were bright and excited. "See, I knew it! That's great news. I had a feeling he liked you... Utterly ignores most of the girls that fawn over him in the infirmary, and there's only two reasons for a guy to do that... One of them is having a certain woman on their mind~"
