Alan landed directly behind the bull, still shooting it nonstop with his twin Jericho 941s. The beast bellowed in rage and pain, spinning around and slashing in random directions. It knew there were two enemies, but he didn't know which one to kill. At the exact moment when Alan stopped shooting to quickly reload, the hulking demon lunged at Rowaneath.

Even though vampires had supernatural strength, this monster ignored Rowaneath's melee attacks. It had a thick hide and layers of muscle protecting it. The thing fell onto the vampire, trying to claw out her arms. A second later a large BOOM pierced the night sky. Alan had pulled out his Smith and Wesson custom pistol and shot the taurus with a tranquilizer dart. This merely distracted the thing, however, as it got up and charged at Alan.

Alan's eyes widened slightly in surprise as he saw the girl throw the beast away unintentionally. He quickly recovered, however, and raised his gun once again, unloading two tranquilizers onto the bull as Rowaneath shot at its head. In a flash, the giant beast went down. Its eyes rolled up to its head as it went limp. Panting a little, Alan walked up to the carcass, shot it again for good measure, and tied its limbs up with chains. "Better be gettin this back..." he said vaguely while looking at Rowaneath. "Thanks for your help, that was a close one."

Alan blinked once as an image of a little girl being sucked dry by a vampire filled his mind. Not only was the image there, but the emotions too. He felt sad and lonely, thinking about this 'Emma.' The whole event passed in a second, but it seemed as if it were an eternity. Shaking his head a little, he gave a glance at Rowaneath and nodded shortly, signaling that she could help carry the creature back to Haven. Walking a little towards the exit of the park, Alan asked in soft voice, "so what were YOU doing here so late at night?"

Quickly stealing a look over at the girl, Alan cocked his head ever so slightly at her explaination. He spoke no more of it, however. When Rowaneath dropped the demon's carcass, Alan strained holding it up, resorting to dragging it on the ground. He looked over at her once more and said, "listen, I got this, you just go get your blood so that you don't die." He could tell what she needed, most vampires were very lightheaded with lack of blood. Dragging the chained beast along the dirt, Alan walked off without Rowaneath and gave her a short wave with one of his arms, purposely ignoring her question. As he was about to exit the park, he paused and added, "oh, and next time I see you, I'll probably be hunting you...vampire." With that, the young man disappeared into the darkness.

Rowaneath entered central park trying to push away Ion's memories. She found a park bench and layed down on it, tears stusck behind her eyes as slowly she fell asleep one hand under her head and the other halfly stretched out in front of her. Her legs were half curled up the bottom one was closer to her chest and the other leg layed on the calf of the bottom one.

Marisa walks through the park and sees Rowaneath laying on the bench."Are you ok?" Marisa kneels beside her.

She looks at Marisa "it's all my fault... my family died because of me... if i was there... i could of done something... anything" she said through big gasps then she calmed down.
