He smiled a little as Kiah kept checking behind to see if he was following her. When he got to the counter her ordered the same thing she had, only with tea instead of milk. He wasn't feeling like that much of a change yet. When they got their meals he carried hers for her and sat down at a table away from the Finders.
"It looks good," he said before taking his first bite of the omelet.

Kiah had hoovered close by, scowling a bit playfully as he grabbed her try for her. "I could have carried my own tray, silly!"
She'd started cutting her omelet up in order to disperse the pieces and cool it off faster, and was quick to try it after him. It was amazing how Jerry could keep the taste of the bacon from getting lost in the fluffy omelet. "Mmm... It is good! What do you think?" she asked, taking a drink of milk from her glass.

"It's really good."
He was surprised that something besides Soba could taste so good. He remembered the time they went into town and ate out, and realized this would be the second time taking Kiah's suggestion paid off. He smiled to himself and watched her a little as they continued to eat.
"What are your plans for today?"

"I'm glad you like it! To be honest, I was a little worried... omelets and steak are pretty different taste-wise," she smiled, popping another piece into her mouth. Hopefully she wouldn't strike out on the third attempt if he decided to try something new again.
Kiah hurriedly swallowed her mouthful before answering with a shrug, "Um... I didn't really have any. Komui told me I didn't have to work at all today, but that's probably what I'll end up doing if nothing else comes up."

Though she wanted to simply travel through the woods, she thought it might be better to actually train while she had Kanda with her. She trained indoors whenever she got the chance, but she never really felt like she was making much progress after the last fighting session with the young man. Once she thought about it for a short time, however, Kiah's face lit up with excitement, "Or we could train in the woods!"

"....I didn't think of that."
He let out a small laugh at himself and finished up his omelet before starting to sip his tea. He decided already that it was going to be a good day and looked outside to the sunny grounds.
"I think the weather looks perfect for it. We can get changed when we're done with breakfast."

"You think so?" Kiah looked over to the window and was happy to see that he was right. Though she honestly wouldn't mind training in any type of weather, sunny was probably the best since they'd be under the shade of trees for most of the day.
"Okay!" Nodding, she quickly started finishing off her omelet, trying to rush through breakfast so they could get outside right away. She soon had her plate empty and was patiently waiting for Kanda to finish his tea so that she could take his tray up that time. "So we'll meet back at the front doors after we go change?"

He nodded and finished his tea when he noticed Kiah seemed to be in a hurry to get outside, "I'll see you there."
He hurried back to his room and took a quick shower before changing into his normal training attire. He grabbed Mugen from his bed, where he had left it the previous night. He couldn't help but feel a small jolt of excitement in his chest at the prospect of spending the day in the woods with Kiah. He wasn't sure what it was, but the time they had been spending together recently seemed to warm his core in an unexpected way. He supposed it was just the fact that spending time in someone else's company was better than spending time constantly alone. As he made his way down to the front doors of The Order, he even found himself skipping down the stairs with a little spring in his step. When he got to the bottom he had to stop and shake himself to come back down from the small high he was feeling. He slowly continued to make his way to the front doors and reached them first, waiting for Kiah outside in the sun, a small breeze blowing his ponytail as he crossed his arms and leaned against one of the lamp posts that lined the pathway.

Liv was on her way to breakfast, looking bright and chipper from the previous evening's festivities. She decided to take the long route to the kitchen, which happened to lead past the infirmary. She only gave it a small glance as she passed, but could see right away that Mishka wasn't there yet, so she carried on. It didn't take more than a minute before she turned a corner and came face to face with Kiah...who was still in her dress from the night before. Liv was immediately stunned into a short silence, her eyebrows raising as she blinked at the young woman.
"...Kiah....are you just now headed back to your room..? You haven't even changed out of your dress yet.....," Liv continued to give her a penetrating stare and her mouth started to drop open, "....Ooooooooooohhhh.....you didn't go back to your roooom last niiiiight....~"

Kiah waved him off and headed for her room once she'd taken their trays back to the kitchen. She was stopped short halfway to her room when she nearly ran into Liv who was giving her a very strange look. "Oh, uh... Hey-," she was cut off the second Liv started asking her questions, innocently wondering why she seemed so surprised. "Yes... I'm going to my room to change now...," she said slowly, blushing once she finally understood what Liv was getting at, "That... No! That's not even close to what happened! I didn't... do... what you think!"
