Just stopping by to let you fine ladies and gentlemen know that I'm going on an indefinite hiatus from Gaia. I got to get my life together so I need to disappear for however long it might take. I'll probably just pop up every now and then to keep my EI collection intact but that's about it until I figure some things out.

Provided the Gator has not devoured us all, we should still be here when you return, Era.
Oh, wait, I'm immune to the Gator's gastric attack. So I'll at least still be here, sitting on the smoking remains of the AMC, and making s'mores...

Streamjumper LunaInverse Dr. Fomite LunaInverse Dr. Fomite This new year kind of sucks. I have to agree with you, but...well, hopefully it only gets better. xd I hope so.
I have a herniated lumbar disc. crying Everything I do hurts. But at least I got into a doctor and I got to start some pain medications, so I managed to sleep a little last night. Ouch. Doesn't that require some kind of surgery? And will you be performing the procedure on yourself? rofl I will be honored to scrub in as Mala's anestheologist for the first ever auto-backectomy... or backectomy of any sort. For now they've just got me on medications, but I'll keep the spine-removal kit at the ready. crying

You don't even need to play any games with us... just leave your box and headphones on. Though I suspect any medications you've got might be putting you to sleep pretty early. Oh, I've been playing a lot of Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood lately, and I'm willing to bet you'll love the doctors... They wear heavy black coats and those beaked plague masks. You even get to use one as your character in multiplayer.

I'll have to give it a try. My wireless router's been a piece of crap, so I've been avoiding using it for the most part. But I have been putzing around a lot on Fable II, so I'll see about getting online. :V

Unless your router is entirely ********, that might solve things.

Unless your router is entirely ********, that might solve things. It actually seems to work just fine for connecting the XBox.
It's just that my internet starts running ridiculously slow after a little while, even though it's on a ethernet connection to the router. Then the program that came with the router freaks out every time I disconnect it and connect the computer directly to the cable modem. It's not a big deal to get the internet settings fixed every time, but it's enough of a pain in the a** that I tend to avoid using the router.
For now I've been trying to get my new 72 gallon tank up and ready. gonk
Edit: Tank, gravel, decorations and stand cleaned. Tank filled with water -- one five gallon bucket at a time. gonk

Words cannot express the awesome. All I am capable of saying is that when Operation: Surfing in Nevada comes to fruitition, this manliest of all roach coaches will function as a sort of roving Rapture. The biblical event, not the underwater city in chaos. Anyone who has accepted Mammoth Burritos into their heart will be saved... if just for a snack later.

OH.
So, Randy has been getting into Anime recently. We just watched FMA, and he wanted to start something new. So, I saw Gurren Laggan was on Netflix so we started that.
Well, guess what Netflix. You messed up. They have episode nine on there twice...and NO episode eight. So we started up what is supposed to be eight...and poof. He finds out about Kamina before he even gets to see the episode!
Luckily I have the series on DVD, but it is subs. He doesn't like to watch subs, but he had to suck it up for the one most important episode.
So mad, Netflix.
