For any of you who've been watching me (and Kane, and WJ, and Suyo... but mostly me) and thinking "God, that Fable 3 sounds like a fun game, but I only have 40 bucks and it costs 60." (you know who you are... everyone); you're in luck!
After a sound flurry of crotch-kicks from yours truely, I've convinced the folks at Gamestop to do a Black Friday Weekend sale of Fable 3 for $39.99. Granted, the bastards went above and beyond by offering Halo:Reach for the same price, netting themselves a voucher good for one spleen-stabbing, which I intend to deliver at a time and place of my choosing and their least-expecting.
Microsoft, terrified inspired, by my deft negotiating skills promptly rolled out a nifty little XBLA Black Friday Weekend sale of their own. For several days over the Holiday and following weekend they'll be offering some add-ons, arcade games, and the like for nicely reduced prices. I strongly suggest Splosion Man at an unbeatable 160 points (2 bucks!) and Portal: Still Alive for 400 points (5 bucks) among other things.
