Meredith burst into ungraceful laughter accompanied by snorts as she listened to Tokeru threaten to eat James. "Oh yeah, that's what we're doing. We're going to bring you on back to Haven and we're gonna fatten you up with some cake. Now no leaving bread crumbs because that won't help you since we'll force feed them to you." She laughed and then took the liberty to attempt to respond to the whole gun comment he'd made. "Ah, it's always the guns people like, never the swords or mideval weaponry anymore. They're so much ... prettier ... and they hurt a hell of a lot more if you know how to use them properly. More exhilirating too. In any case, just don't go trigger happy on me, I hate it when people just let them rip ... Now to get going." She smiled politely and turned to Tokeru who'd been given some time to laugh to himself. "On our way, dearie?" She asked with a mischeivous smile.

Tokeru smiled, and turned the keys in the ignition. He stepped on the gas and screeched off the Haven.

She smiled back and kissed her Angel then decided to close her eyes and rest for a bit until they arrived at Haven.

Jaden sat down in the subway system and sniffed the foul air down there. He had been thinking that going out tonight was a good idea at the time but things weren't turning out too well.

Razu waited at the subway waiting for the train to arrive. Duke waited patiantly with him while Steffon was impatiantly playing with a dust bunny. When the train arrived Razu stepped on board planning on heading to a smaller village that could use a healer. Steffon jumped up and followed as Duke flew in. Razu sat down next to Jaden before his sense of smell and thought kicked in. He jumped up and back away. He had never met the NewYork leader before and meeting here had scared him.

Jaden casually held his hat so his flicking wolf ears wouldn't force it off his head. Even in New York it was hard enough to remain inconspicuous without the fact he had ears and a tail. "What?" he asked, growling mildly in an unconscious manner.

Razu blinked, "Ah! Well! Um? I wasn't expecting to meet the packleader on the sudway! Um! Nice to meet you! I'm Rasheed Mazura! He's Steffon..." He pointed to the black wolf snuffling through the car. He turns his finger to the bird sitting next to Jaden, "And he's Duke."

"How do people keep knowing I'm the pack leader?" Jaden muttered, running his clawed fingers through his messy black hair. "It's like somebody put out a memo and forgot to tell me. I don't even recognize your scent and you know who I am."

Razu blinked and began laughing out loud, " It's because when you're Pack leader you carry a certain...power! Lesser wolves can feel your authority and command! You don't know me cause I came from a small town in the mountains and this is the first time I've met you!"

Jaden snorted and closed his red eyes in frustration. "Oh please stop. I was always like this even before I started sleeping with the Beta Female. So now I just have a feel that I'm powerful even in human form. That's the last thing I need." He took of his hat and rubbed his black wolf ears irritably.

Razu looked keenly at the leader, "Its magic. You can't explain Magic. Lycan Magic is very strong. You are leader. I do not envy you. I would hate to be leader." Razu sat down on his knees staring up at Jaden. A sly smile flitted to Razu's face as he asked, "So how was the Beta female? Was she good? Did you eat her like candy?"
Steffon growled and ran over and bit razu scoldenly, thats none of your business!
Razu whined, "Ow! Okay! None of my business! I understand!" He tried shaking the wolf off his arm. Small beads of tears began to form in his eyes.

Jaden snorted slightly and crossed his legs. He really was flattered in his own way. "She was small and nice." he said looking out of the window. "Very sweet... I just miss her." His fluffy black tail flicked out of his pants.

He turns his attention to Jaden again, "I know you are leader but....what is your name?"

Jaden's ears twitched slightly. "Jaden." he said cocking his head to the side. "Why would you want to know? I mean I could be one of those males that just wants you to grovel and never speak to me. Didn't you ever think of that?"

Razu blinked, "I don't grovel and plus the fact that you don'make yourself well known would also give that away. The type of man you speak of would have made himself very well known. Even to someone like me who is just lowly healer." Razu spoke from experience.
Steffon let go of Razu and stared at Jaden.
