Struggling to get up, Amaya left the bed to go back to her own room. She couldn't stand being in there any longer. Holding her stomach, she limped to her room and layed on the bed. She missed Roran already.

Continuing to ride, it had taken all night, but the stars were slowly receeding. Seeing Syrva was tired beyond comparison, he stopped her by a lake, letting her get her drink. "I've only slept in the feilds once since I met Amaya," he laughed. Laying down, he didn't fall asleep, but just listened to nature. As Syrva seemed to be ready again, it had only been thrity minutes or so. Getting on her back again, they continued their long haul back to Syra.
((I don't think I'll be posting for a little while, seeing as Roran doesn't return till dawn. So, I'll just be reading till then. THoght you'd like to know why I wouldn't be posting as much. I'll start back up again once dawn comes though, rest assured.))

On the road to Syra, three men awaited the new King. They all wore a black outfit and masks to cover their faces. The road was blocked by trees behind them. "Are you sure he traveles alone?" Asked one of the men. "Positive." answered the one standing in the middle. "How careless of him. This will be easier then expected." Smirked the last one. "That's because they believe every last one of us died in that battle. What they didn't expect is not all of us attended to the battle." Seeing a man on a horse on the horizon, two of the men took a crossbow and fired. One at Roran and one at his horse, Syrva.

Seeing the three on the horizon, Roran wondered who it could be. That was until he heard the whizzing of arrows. Yanking Syrva's reigns, both arrows narrowly missed. "Damnit!" Getting Syrva to stop, Roran jumped off. "Go home girl. Just not directly." Slapping Syrva's butt, the horse zoomed off, getting back to Syra long before Roran ever would, if he ever would.
Taking his sword out, he knew he could knock away ay arrows coming at him, he spent a whole year practicing that. Walking to the point where he was twenty feet away, he looked at the three men. "Assassins, I'll presume. Figures, your force was too easy to be all that there was. But do you think you'll beat me? Come on, I'm just like my brothers. I can hold my own against a lot of guys." Surveying them, they all looked strong, even with the black cloaks on. I must return home. I have to.

"My dear King, it is not our intension to cross our blades with you. We must sipmly make sure you never arrive at Syra. Your horse will notify them of your dissapearance." The man smirked from behind his mask. The two others laughed and rested their hands on their sword. "Now, you can come along peacefully or we'll use force. It would be easier if you would drop your sword and came along peacefully. You wouldn't want something to happen to the Queen, would you?"

He shook his head, "You wouldn't touch her." Standing stock still, he didn't let go of his sword.

"Why not? We have observed the fight. She got severly injured and wouldn't do well to defend herself. Of course we will not harm her if you decide to drop your sword." The man crossed his arms and sighed, "Besides, you won't believe me, but whomever is ordered to kill her tonight is walking in the castle. That person has been walking and serving the castle for years and now is a spy for us. If this spy doesn't recieve a certain signal, the spy will assault the Queen. Should you kill us and arrive at Syra before midnight, all you can do is let no one near the Queen. For you do not know who the spy is." Grabbing a small pipe and a dart. He put the dart in the pipe and put it to his mouth, raising his mask just above his mouth. "This is a tranquilizer. I promise you we will not harm anyone, including you, if you come peacefully. Drop your sword and allow me to put you asleep... for your own safety... and that of the Queen..."

Amaya slept in her room quietly, not knowing of the danger that lurked in the castle. Saber was asleep as well, his leg feeling better, but still unable for him to move if something were to happen. She hoped Roran was okay, she was really worried.

Droping his sword, he put his hands up. "Hang on, why can't I come without being put to sleep? If Amaya's in danger, I won't do anything to you, or to anyone. I just want her to be okay. Please..." Lowering his hands, he turned his back on them, showing his neck. He knew where he had to be hit to fall asleep the longest. "Go ahead..."

"Putting you asleep is more for our safety, as you won't know where we'll take you, and thus, will have a hard time returning to Syra." The man explained, before blowing in the pipe. The dart flew straight at Roran and hit him in the neck, "He won't be much of a trouble now. Let's go to the base and make sure to cover our tracks." "Yes, are you coming along?" The man who picked up Roran and carried him, asked. "That I will. They will not miss me in the castle yet." He smirked, glad Roran didn't put up a fight. "I shall join you after clearing our tracks, boss." The tirth guy said. "Good, but don't hang around here for to long. We can't afford you to get caught." The leader said, before the two left with Roran, to their hidden base. After clearing all traces and tracks, the thirth one joined his fellows.
Upon arrival, they tossed Roran in a cell, after checking him for any weapons or other stuff.
((I have to go, be back in a hour!))

Waking to the sound of a horse outside, Amaya slowly walked over to her window to see what the commotion was about. It was Syrva, but she was alone. Grabbing a loose black dress, Amaya slipped it on and scratched Saber's head before going outside where Syrva was. "Sryva...What's wrong? Where is Roran?" She asked the horse, holding her stomach as she walked over.

Closing his eyes as he felt the dart, his world went black. Don't try to find me...
Waking a few hours later, it was already light outside. "Hey! Hey! Is anyone there?!?" Roran called, looking around his cell. Seeing a door, he walked over and began banging on it. "Hello?"
Rearing up at Amaya's question, Syrva was jittery.

"Syrva! Calm down!" Amaya said as she grabbed the startled horse's reins and stroked her neck. "What's wrong? Did something happen to Roran?" She asked as she looked at the horse concerned.
