Giovanna smiled, reaching across the table and lifting the girl's head to face her. And is that something to really be ashamed about? Don't hide, she reassured, pulling her arm back to herself. Actually, I know what it's like, as I've said before. I had more than a liking for my brother...and apparently, he felt the same for me. That's ancient history though, she said, clearing her throat. I don't think there's anything wrong with that sort of thing, even though a lot of people, at the same time, think there is. Look at it this way, would you rather him hold qualities that cause you to love him more than just as a brother, or would you rather him act like a typical young man does? Most brothers and sisters can't stand each other! Giovanna chuckled and shook her head before continuing. It's absolutely precious, if you ask me.

I just feel like... there's really no point in liking someone who will never see you as anything but... related... she whispered, laughing nervously. What am I thinking, it's stupid, she said, smiling brightly to Giovanna. You and your brother loved eachother? Why don't you still?

Kimiko nodded some as she sipped the drink again, still smiling to Ryuji. That's okay, We don't have to do anything! She hummed softly to herself, letting her eyes fall shut as well, just enjoying being near him again. Oh! She giggled, reaching into one of her dress pockets to retreive a small pendant. I found this, and thought maybe you'd like it. She offered the long, frail chain to Ryuji, letting the pendant dangle just above the table. It was shaped as a long silver bullet, a small grey/silver spider at the base of the pendant.
((I'll sketch it real quick and edit it in. XD))

Just because there's the potential of them not liking you back in the same way doesn't mean you should stop liking them. I mean, of course it's understandable that a brother wouldn't like his sister in that kind of way, right? Giovanna asked, laughing a little, trying not to hurt the young girl's feelings. And...about my brother and I... Well, I still love him a lot. I don't know how he feels about me. A while back, some things happened and I told him to leave. He took our-- she stopped and looked at Miyoko, blushing profusely. Well, I told him to go and that I didn't want to see him again unless he changed his ways. Let's just say, he took something very important to me. Giovanna sighed and looked out the window, falling silent for several minutes. Lately, I've been getting this feeling that something is going to happen, she finally said, turning her attention back to Miyoko. Do you ever feel that way?

Huh...where'd you find that? Ryuji asked, taking it in his hand and examining it closely. He glanced over to Kimiko as he waited for the answer, still holding the silver pendant in his hand.
Miyoko nodded some, looking to Giovanna. Well, I think he likes another person, that's the thing...though that other person doesn't understand him...I don't even really understand him that well, she said, folding her arms over her chest as she thought about it. Maybe I should just stop thinking so much about it...what happened, if you don't mind me asking? Between your brother and you? And yes, I do know what you mean, I feel like something's going to happen soon, too...
Arashi pulled Charity into the darkened cafe, noting that not many people were here. She stuck her tongue out at Ryuji and pulled Charity over to Miyoko and an older woman. Is this your aunt? she asked, turning to her new friend.

Kimiko tilted her head as well, eyes moving from the pendant to meet Ryuji's. It was in a pocket in my suitcase...I didn't remember packing it, and something about it made me think of you. She smiled to him, a faint blush on her pale cheeks. So I thought I'd see if it was yours, and if it wasn't, then I'd like to offer it as a gift to my love. She giggled softly, nodding to him.

Well then, maybe someone should sit and talk to him and get to know him and try to understand what's going on in his head? Giovanna smiled with a satisfactory nod. Ummm, she started, noticing Charity and another girl enter the coffeeshop, I wouldn't mind telling you about my brother and I, if you really wanted to know the details and such, but it looks like that will have to wait. She gestured to her niece and new friend as they walked up to the table. This, Miyoko, is Charity.
Charity nodded and smiled. Yes, that's my aunt... she waved at Giovanna and hugged Arashi close to her, whispering in the blonde girl's ear, Please ask her about the sleepover, and tell her what you told me about your mommy, she continued, once again inhaling Arashi's hair. Mmm... she murmured, practically going crosseyed.

Ryuji nodded some, looking to Kimiko once again. Thank you for bringing it, I thought I lost it a while ago, he said, taking the chain and putting it over his head so that it hung around his neck, resting on his collarbone.
Oh, sure, Miyoko said, glancing to her half-sister and smiling politely before looking to Charity. Hi Charity, she started, extending a hand as she was pretty sure that's how American's introduced themselves, I'm Miyoko, Arashi's half-sister.
Arashi laughed softly as her hair was sniffed once more, holding close to Charity too. It felt nice to have a friend so close. She looked to Giovanna and bowed lowly, smiling to her. Hello, I'm Arashi, a friend of Charity's, and we were wondering something...

Hesitantly, Charity pulled away from Arashi and stepped closer to Miyoko. Hi there, she smiled brightly, looking at Miyoko's hand confused. Do I...? she asked in a low voice, unsure of what to do. She glanced at her aunt and then to Arashi before taking Miyoko's hand and bending down to kiss it. Did I do that right? she blushed.
And what was it that you were wondering? Giovanna grinned. Hopefully nothing that would get you into too much trouble. Charity does have a knack for it, she laughed. Hmm, go on. Giovanna gestured for the young girl to sit in another chair at the table.

Kimiko let her eyes follow the thin chain to the pendant and nodded to Ryuji, still smiling some. You're very welcome, my love, she giggled, clasping her hands on the table infront of herself. I'm glad I could return it to you safely.

Ryuji smiled faintly, not admitting that it hurt his lips. Thanks... he murmured, looking back down to the pendant and sighing softly.
Miyoko giggled softly, nodding some. That works too, she said, blushing a bit as she smiled brightly to Charity.
Arashi turned to Giovanna after the brief pause to laugh at the two. Actually, we were wondering if it would be okay that Charity sleep over at my house tonight, she started, taking a breath, you could talk to my mom and there are plenty of spare rooms there, if you didn't feel comfortable letting her stay on her own.

Kimiko nodded to Ryuji, her smile fading just slightly at the sound of his sigh. Is something troubling you? She asked, hoping he'd be honest with her. She reached forward to brush her fingertips over his hand, pressing her lips together some.

Charity pulled up a chair and sat next to Miyoko. You have a really pretty dress, she said, touching the fabric on the other girl's thigh. I like your outfit...it's really pretty. Charity's eyes sparkled as she examined Miyoko's dress.
Hmmm, a slumber party, huh. I don't suppose that would be a bad idea. The only thing I'm weary about is what your mother would say about a strange woman going to keep her company, or even staying in her house. She glanced at Charity and Miyoko and smiled before turning her attention back to Arashi. How would she feel about Charity staying, as well...?

Lacuna kicked open the coffeeshop's door and threw her bag onto a chair before flopping into the other across from it with an exhale of great displeasure. Lacuna mumbled a few spells under her breath making small glittery sparks release themselves from her fingertips.

Escarelia walked into the coffee shop, closing her eyes for a few moments and inhaling deeply. "I'd forgotton how much I love this smell," she said, smiling. She opened her eyes, eyes looking over the other people in the shop. Her eyes paused over Lacuna. She tilted her head slightly and one hand tightened on the little piece of chocolate she'd been nibbling on. She untilted her head, took a deep breath and walked over to Lacuna. She stopped behind her. "Excuse me, miss? Are you okay?" She asked, hoping she wasn't being too rude, as the other girl looked a little upset.
