Kibo looked up from his place, hidden in the shadows, and recited the poem he had been reading.

Kibo:

"To lay a kiss on your lips,
so gentle and delicate
is like picking the drops of dew
off the petals of a rose.

I hold you close and feel safe,
sheltered in from the rain,
from the storms that grow and surround me.
I take your hand and look into your eyes
and see a heart made of gold and soul so pure.

You see you are an angel, an angel to me.
I could not help but fall madly in love with you,
the one who stole my heart.

I’m glad you did
because I could never find one such as you...
Some one who makes each day the best,
each laugh the longest,
each tear the saddest,
and a life, my life, worthwhile."

Well good morning, beautiful. How was your sleep?

Kibo chuckles, closing his eyes. After a few moments, his eyes snap open, and he smiles.

Kibo: He's fine. He's just walking around. Although the dummies I put in the room are pretty much destroyed. I might wanna put some more in there.

He chuckles to himself.

Kibo: He'll be fine. Just let him calm down a bit. He's still changing back and forth randomly.

Kibo sighs, rubbing his temples.

Kibo: He's not cursed. He's just possessed by a wolf demon's spirit. There... is one thing I could do...

He pauses for a second, considering if he should go through with his idea.

Kibo sighs again.

Kibo: I'll be right back.

He walks out of the library, sprinting up to his quarters. He walks into the cottage, lifting up one of the floorboards. Underneath it was a wooden chest. He pulls it out of its place under the boards. He puts it on the table, running his fingers across the lid of the chest. He suddenly jerks it open, gazing with half-admiration, half-terror, and the tiny section of red string in the chest. He picks the string up with trembling fingers, holding it up to his face. He closes his eyes, taking the string in two hands.

Kibo: Sunny's happiness is more important than my safety.

He wraps the string around his right hand. The string disappears into his flesh, and blood-red lines shoot up his arm. He hears an all-too-familiar rasp in his ears, as the demon's voice rings out.

Charon: Well hello again, fool. Can't live without me?
Kibo: Shut up. I have a little gift for you. The soul of a wolf demon.
Charon: Oh? Well, you've captured my attention.

Kibo growls, his head twitching. Through Charon's words, he could feel the demon's finger trying to pry into his mind, to control him. He pushes the finger away forcibly.

Kibo: Don't even try it.

He walks back to the library, staring at Sunny with a loving expression. In his head, Charon picked up on it.

Charon: Oh, so this is your new b***h?

Kibo ignores his comment.

Kibo: Sunny, come with me.

He walks to Rex's room. He taps the door, and it unfuses from the wall.

Kibo: Be careful now.

He flings the door open, ready for anything that'd happen when he did so.

Kibo unsheathes Farind and Renji. He taps the blades together, and the metal of the blade dissolves, leaving only two translucent blades remaining. Spirit Blades.

Kibo: Stand back, Hinata.

He runs forward, catching Rex off guard, and stabs the spirit blades right through him. He pulls the blades off to either side. Rex is forced to one side, falling off the Farind with nothing more than a small hole in his his shirt. On Renji, however, was something entirely different. A massive spirit-wolf was thrown against the wall, yelping as it fell off Renji's blade tip. Kibo immediately drops both blades, holding out his right hand.

Kibo: Charon's Bite!

On his palm, a blood red line appears on his palm, parting to reveal two pairs of sharp, black teeth, and a long throat; those of Charon. The hand-beast roars, and inhales. Despite the demon's struggling, the wolf-spirit is dragged into Charon's mouth. The jaws close, and the demon disappears from the earthly plain forever. The mouth roars again, before closing and disappearing, leaving only he, Sunny, and the unconscious, but alive, Rex.

Kibo: There, done. He'll be utterly exhausted for a few hours, but he'll be fine. Now, excuse me.

He sits down on the floor, closing his eyes, and beginning the dangerous, yet relatively brief, task of ridding his body of Charon once again.

Small cuts, and a few large claw marks, begin to appear all over Kibo's body as he mentally fought the demon trying to preserve it's own survival. After about a minute, Kibo's eyes snap open, as a small red string appears over his head, floating to the ground. Kibo quickly grabs the string before anyone else could touch it, and puts it back in the box it had come from.

Kibo: I suppose you'll be wanting an explanation?

Kibo: Well, it all starts out in Calatoina. Storm enchanted both Natasha's, and my, weapons. Natasha's blade was enchanted, and became something called Charon's Claw. However, Natasha didn't want it, so she gave it to me instead. However, a little something. In order to wield, or touch, the blade, one needs to first battle Charon himself in a battle of wills. I took the challenge, and ended up losing my left arm. I managed to win, though, so Charon's arm replaced mine. A lot of things happened, a bunch of battles between I and he, I got my arm back, and I eventually ended up forcing Charon out of my body, and into this string. I hid him away, and planned never to be used again.

He shrugs nonchalantly, his wounds fizzling as they healed.

Kibo: Well, it's a piece of the Squillodicella.

He takes off the ring on his little finger, and pulls it at arm's length, showing a blood-red cord, identical to, but longer than, the string he had just scooped off the ground. It ran from the ring to the center of his palm, where it disappeared into the skin.

Kibo: This is where I shoved Charon into after he almost had me kill Storm. The Squillodicella can turn into as many Charon-based weapons that I can discover.

He grins, letting the Squillodicella retract back into his palm, replacing the ring on his little finger.
