"Oh no!" Upon the attack on the back of his Electrode, both he and the Pokemon stopped, groaning about pains in their back. "Okay, you bomb ball! Use your last resort attack!" A glint appeared in Wattson's eye. "Explosion!"
"Really?" Kilik blinked at her, "I'm glad I met you when I did. I can't imagine a mean Nina."

"Well, I wasn't really mean, per se," Nina said, "but I was like... really distant and cut off from everyone else. I really didn't have a lot of friends, except for Anna-- I had known her ever since I was born. I'm very grateful for her companionship."

"Get out of there Sapphire!" Mitsu cried. Too late, he was nicked by the explosion sending him ground. He layed here gasping for air before fainitng. Mitsu bit her bottom lip. "You were great Sapphire!" Mitsu said returning the Pokemon. Who to use next?

"Well, both of our Pokemon are waving the white flag!" Wattson lifted up Electrode's Pokeball and called back his compainion. "Your choice, lassie."
The boy smiled and took Nina's hand in his. "It's good that you opened up. That's not the Nina I would have wanted to know.

"All right. I choose you Ivy!" Mitsu said tossing the Pokeball up into the air. An Ivy saur was released from the Pokeball and he promtly took his battle stance. Ivy's a bit slow compared to these electric types, hopefully his Pokemon won't be as speedy as the last.

((Thanks for shuffling me onto the boat. We just finished our first "episode" of the Buffy RPG and my gosh was it fun. blaugh ))
Kasiya leaned back in the same chair she'd used to hide her dress with before, Adamantine and Rosemary both snuggled in her lap fast asleep. She let the sea air wash over her, and she smiled, knowing she was on her way back home. "It's stupid," she laughed to herself, Shocker looking over at her from her perch. "But I think I may miss this dress when my clothes are dry." She smiled, remembering Mike's reaction, and suddenly wondered if Keegan would think she looked pretty in it as well. The Raichu grinned at her trainer, jumping down and finding a place to snuggle on her already cramped lap.
"Don't get any ideas, you're too big," Kasiya laughed, as Hiro had raised his head as if he'd wanted to climb on too, but settled for lying next to her, his massive head on her feet.

"An Ivysaur?" Wattson rubbed his eyes, "Don't see many of those things in Hoenn. Well, I'll pick...Electabuzz!" The old man threw another Pokemon, revealing a tall yellow creature. It let out a cry and looked at the Ivysaur with cold eyes.

(( I hate Maple(rs). You all mock me with your luck and abundant of event items while Mitsu has neither. D: ))
"Oh great," Mitsu muttered. She had only seen Rena's and it seemed like a powerful Pokemon. "Let's start things off with a Leech Seed Ivy!" Mitsu called out. The bud on Ivy's back opened up scatting seeds all over the arena and launched some at the Electabuzz as well.

"Your Ivysaur is a Poison-type, as well as a Grass-type," Wattson explained, "Once you've been in the buisness as long as I have, you learn a few new tricks. Grass Pokemon have resistances to Electric attacks...which is why my Electabuzz...!" The old man spun in a circle and placed his hands close to his face, "Knows Psychic! Now use it!"
As Electabuzz was seeded with the green buds, the Pokemon held its hands out and they began to glow blue with psychic energy.

Dante had somewhat calmed down since Wattson wasn't saying funny things anymore and was actually paying attention to Mitsu's battle thinking about what he would be doing if he was in her place. He grinned at the thought of the electric resistant Bahumat or Shiva suprising them with her Earthquake ability, Apollo running circles around the already speady electric pokemon, and Meowth, well Meowth would make snide coments the whole time. "Go Mitsu!" Dante cheared from his place on the floor.

"Damn," Mitsu muttered under her breath. Watson had gotten so much stronger since Mike's match. "Ivy see if you can hit it with a Toxic before that attack gets to you!" Ivy nodded and launched the attack towards the Electabuzz. Ivy was struck with the Psychic wincing quite a bit. The Pokemon was in pain, but the little stamina he gained from the Leech Seed helped.

"A Toxic attack?" Wattson laughed a bit, allowing Electabuzz take the attack. "Lassie, I've had this Electabuzz almost since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. It'll take more than that. Electabuzz! Thunderpunch!"
However, instead of running at Ivysaur like it would have, it had to pause to take a deep breath. "Eleca!!" it barked, breaking into a slow dash.

Dante started to sniker again at Wattson's funny coments. "Kneehigh to a grass hopper." He snikered laughing to himself.

"I don't think so!" Mitsu taunted. "Ivy Stop it in it's tracks with a Sweet Scent. Follow through with a Razor Leaf!" The leaves and bud on Ivy's back shook and a sweet scent was cast about the air, a little pink haze covered the battle field as well. Ivy jumped back and lauched a four razor sharp leaves at the Electic Pokemon.

The man wobbled at the scent, trying to regain his balance. "This reminds me of my days when I was a bar-hopper..." he groaned, holding his head. The sweet scent was getting to the Electabuzz too. The electricity around its hand fizzled out and it stopped dead in its tracks, taking the Razor Leaf assault. Electabuzz fell on its bum and slowly stood back up. "Try a Psychic attack!"
