Meh, I'm up waiting for lil' Nath to wake up for his night feed. He's been drifting between sleep and being awake for ages now. If I go back to bed he'll definately realise he's hungry! Thing is, I don't want to get comfy sweatdrop such a dilema. I'm so tired *yawn* ...

Angelique~Yuna Ilianna~ they want to up the dose? wow, that's kinda scary! i've never heard of Discovery, where is that at? i hope everything works out well with your daughter sweatdrop Thanks. I'm hoping it all goes well too. She just sounds like a zombie, and I don't like that. She's a child full of energy and happiness. That's no longer in her voice. As for Discovery? It's a ski resort outside Anaconda and Georgetown Lake.

lunashock Illiana, I'm sorry you have a jackass ex. Do you have a lawyer that can help out? I'm very wary of ADHD diagnoses. My little brother was the same way, so they instantly said he was it. Well, they gave him Aderall, which is a generic form of Ritalin. BAD BAD idea. He ended up pulling a knife on my mother and us and had to call 911 and watched as he was tackled and tied down and foaming at the mouth. He's a handful, but it really was the worst thing for him, I'd be worried too. Damn weird a** TX weather. I've got a lawyer, but haven't been able to get a hold of him. He's a VERY busy man. I did some reading on ADD/ADHD and everything I've read said something about when they test they conduct 'parent interviews' where they take both parents, but primarily the mothers', medical information into consideration. Seeing as how I just found out about this over a week after the testing has me wondering just WHO they interviewed as her mother. I suspect her step-mother, seeing as how she's represented herself as mother in the past. I know where the testing was done, so I'm going to call the hospital and request the records for that so I can see what was done/said. According to my ex, the reason they went with Aderall (thanks for the correct spelling), was that there's absolutely no risk of violent behavior as there is with Striterra (sp?). Having heard your story, it would seem more research is in order. Thanks again... Princess~Nevermore - sorry this is late, but welcome!

Illiana, Pretty much all of the stuff for ADD/ADHD doesn't help these people. It's odd. I know because I have a coworker who's grandson has been on everything. That kid can't be contained. It's a rough diagnosis and the drugs are not that great of a help at times. The man has it but consider it like mommy brain he forgets alot.

I hope you're able to get a hold of your lawyer, Illiana. If you want, I'll hunt down your ex and take him out, ninja style?
I don't want to scare anyone about my brother and his experience with Adderall, but it did happen because of it and I'll never forget that day. I'd worry more about your daughter being properly diagnosed, especially if they're just taking one side of the family medical history and all. *hugs* I know it has to be hard for you, you're a strong chica in my book.

Oh cute hairdo grace. Good luck either way Illiana. Luna you don't scare me dear. My uncle had one of his girlfriends stab him once. But those drugs have different effects on different kids, and all their research isn't that great.

You know Freak (heh hope you don't mind the shortening), that's very true different drugs act different for different people.
I remember reading an article in a medical journal my husband wanted me to read. It was VERY interesting. The drugs that are developed aren't made for other-than-caucasian metabolisms, so drugs may have other effects.
I know for me, I can't take Benedryl (which is the exact stuff in OTC sleeping pills) if I want to go to sleep, it keeps me up. Not wired, but it really keeps me up.
I took Logan to this restaurant for a playdate today. They had a huge sandbox. He wasn't sure of it at first, but by the time we had to leave, he was rolling in the sand, making sand angels. xd

Nice luna. He sounds like he had a good time. I took my daughter out in the snow hehe. I stayed out there too long. I made a snow fort. lol I had the mailman complain that the mailbox wasn't shovelled. Well if he wants to help me shovel the 4 feet of snow in front of it I'd gladly help him lol. Yes you may shorten my name as you please lol.

Hello there, I wasn't sure if this was allowed in the guild, so if it isn't, someone please delete it ^^. I'm holding a giveaway, for the new chinese dresses, and I want at least one GP'er to win ^^. To the other people I choose personally who wins a gown, but for us, i'd like to make it completely random to avoid any hard feelings (and headaches x.x). So I'm just going to number the applicants, and use randomizer.org GP'ers are exempt from all rules, but for the official thread you can check it out here: If you are female, or male and want to give it to your partner (please not for giving to a friend, because I want it to be sorta for us ^^) Just post this form: Quote: GPer form. Username: Which dress you want: Why/for who do you want it: Preferably through pm, or on the thread the banner links you to ^^. Basically I'm giving them out on the 25th. I'd like to do other in guild giveaways in the future, but I'm not sure if we're allowed really ^^. P.S. Owen is getting up on his own now x.x I can't believe it XD
