Jason blushed, "i'm not really all that important. i mean-" he couldn't well continue without lying so he just let it drop. "how's the food? i know it's not the best, but the ladies are really nice. do you think you will need more? i can go get you another helping if you want."

Daren watched as the movers drove off with the truck full of his things. they had a key and would start moving into his new place as soon as they got there. he smiled and looked into the cat carrier, "time to go, Apple. i'm sure you'll love exploring the new place." he went down to his car and put apple in before hesitating. he looked up at the building for a long moment, taking in everything. he had already said goodbye to Anna and Tarte and the kids. that had been the hardest part. it was the first time he'd seen Tetsu cry and it broke his heart. he had to keep telling himself it was for the best, or he'd have never been able to leave.

Jason checked the time, he had another ten minutes and they would come get him if they needed him. by now the entire hospital knew where he'd be, the nurses were quite the gossips as it turned out. "i have enough time to stay until you fall asleep, love." he slipped into the open spot and slid his arms around Tim, holding him close. "time for your food coma."

Daren got into his car and head out. it was time to leave, he'd said his goodbyes. now all that was left was to get to his new home and start anew.

Jason stroked Tim's hair and held him until he fell asleep. he was a little late getting back from his break, but they weren't very busy right now, thank god. he always hated it when they were busy. not because of all of the work, but because there were so many people hurt. he worried over Tim, but knew that his lover was in good hands.

Daren jerked forward as he was hit, his head hitting his steering wheel and splitting open. the blood in his eye made it so he couldn't see his attacker until he'd already been grabbed. he struggled, but he was dizzy from the head wound. he thought he heard Andy's voice, but in the confusion, it was lost. a cloth was placed over his mouth and for the second time that day, he fell into a forced darkness. oddly, his last thought was worry for the mewling apple in his back seat.

Apple's carrier had flown forward when they were hit, but she hadn't fallen between the seats. she cried out, trying to get attention, wanting her two legger to hold her and tell her it was alright. she cried out for him as loud as she could, her voice barely heard in the back seat.

Jason was getting off his shift a little later than he was supose to. there had been a wreck that had sent the ER into a flurry of movement, but there wasn't anything serious. just a pile up with a lot of people coming in at once. he was glad when it was over, the worst case had been a little girl that had slipped out from under her seatbelt and broke her arm. other than that it was just bumps and bruises, thank god. it had been during rush hour so no one had been going too fast. he washed up and changed before going to Tim's room and seeing his lover awake. "hey. good morning. how are you feeling? need more meds?"

Daren woke up with a splitting headache. he cursed softly and rubbed his eyes, the lights of the room causing them to water. "apple?" he looked around for the cat, but she was nowhere to be found. "If you hurt my cat or left her out there, i'll kill you myself," he growled. he knew exactly who'd taken him, it wasn't hard to figure out, and he was pretty sure he was being watched, "what the hell is this? i refuse to go with your plan so you kidnap me? ******** mafia." he shook his head, a bad idea, that made it hurt worse, but forced himself to stand and look around. door would probably be locked, but he tried it anyways, just to be stubborn. "so what now? you just leave me in here? Where the ******** is my cat?" he was worried sick for her, more worried about her well being than his own. she had been his constant friend and companion for several years and the thought of her being hurt or gone was sending him into a panic

Jason hurried to Tim's side, his lover walking when he probably shouldn't be, but he seemed stable so maybe it was ok. "work was busy there towards the end. no one was seriously hurt, thank god. a little girl has a 'cool black arm guard' that she'll need to wear for the next six weeks, but other than that, they are fine. we were really lucky." he looked Tim up and down as a doctor, looking for signs of pain or fatigue. "sorry, i need to ask. how are you feel? does walking hurt? are they specific points of pain?"

Daren sighed in relief. he believed Andy, not because he trusted Andy, but because he knew there weren't many would didn't take a liking to Apple. at least she was safe. he sat down on his bed and looked around, "now what?" his things would arrive at his new place without him, but he wasn't due to report into his new office until next monday. until then, he'd be stuck here with no one knowing that he was missing. he wasn't just going to sit here, no, he was going to figure out a way to escape before then. it was best to have goals, it gave you something to focus on that wasn't your being trapped with no idea what was going to happen to you.

Jason smiled, "that's good, Tim. it's really great, that means you might be able to get out of here sooner than we thought. though you do have an extrodinarly high pain tolerance level." he kissed Tim's cheek and sat down with him on the bed. he hesitated before answering Tim's question. "i haven't seen him myself, but i heard he is awake now and his wife is with him. from what i have heard, he'd doing ok, mentally i mean, but he's also on a lot of pain medication so he's not all there quite yet. looks like he's going to make a full recovery physically, though. he might have a little trouble walking at first, but with work that will go away too." he slipped his arms around Tim and hugged him, "it's not your fault he got hurt, love."

"Tim-" Jason cupped the other's cheeks and made him meet his eyes, "there is no way they are going to send you to prison, why would you even think that?" he searched the man's eyes, but didn't see much. "yes, he is going to go to therapy, but family will understand. no one blames you for what happened, you had no say. if you refused, George would have been hurt worse than he already was! you did what you did to protect him, and don't ever think different!"
