I'm just 17 and this isn't Syria. Nor any other country that has been undergoing a bloody revolution, US created or not. Despite history has shown that all empires rise and fall, the American Empire has a distinct ability to pull s**t out of their a** and get away with whatever they want. Example: Saddam Hussein in Iraq, the first Iraq War, the Afghan war, Iraq-Iran war, the Libyan Civil war, ect. Despite the fact they are falling apart they wage these wars and in the end rebound back from the hole they are in. Puerto Rico has been under US leadership since 1898, and I don't really mind that. We are better off with them than without them, what i don't like is the way the american government is lead. They want to rule the world without truly ruling it, and using democracy as a weapon doesn't help. The USSR had a better chance at doing it, but the communist project was never allowed to flourish due to UN involvement. I believe the world would be a very different place had the cold war not have occurred and the US and USSR would have worked together. Today, 21 years after the supposed end of the Cold War we are still feeling its effects on the general population. And some, such as myself, argue that it never ended; the players might have changed, but it never truly ended. Edit: Sadly i think this is getting a bit too political for the chat room ; - ;

iAkura-kun 4 hours late to work? I don't think its worth going to work if you're that late, that is if you have a 7-8 hour shift. I would have but one of the managers said "that's no excuse everybody else made it to work." even though I live outside the city

Edit: Sadly i think this is getting a bit too political for the chat room ; - ; Those wars were brought about by idiots for idiots. There was little "Good" intent behind it. It was purely political, and designed to bring the USA under a common bond of defeating a common enemy. However this has backfired. It's taught the people of the US that by uniting they can dispose of leaders as they see fit. So, by banding together, idiots can eventually bring this country to it's knees. Such is the fate of the United states of America, however given our age, it won't happen in our lifetime. Although I do agree. It doesn't exactly feel like everything is happening naturally. Things feel like they're being played like a game of chess. That's exactly why I want to place my own pieces. This would allow me to take a direct role in the shadows, as well as remain a third party. And yeah, It is getting a tad bit political. I doubt even a Debate thread would suffice should this conversation go on much longer. sweatdrop

I agree. It does feel like a game of chess most of the times. And in cold hard reality we're just pawns wishing to be kings. Hardly anything will change that. We all want our own pieces, we all want to be a part of the future of the world, some more so than others, but in the end its profit vs humanity; and everything in the history of humanity shows that profit always wins.

Ah, but with that mind set there is no way for humanity to prevail. If we gather enough force, and pass down our morals, eventually we'll have bred this thought into generation after generation. Sooner or later, we'd have created the force necessary to show humanity that profit is only a small group, while Humanity encompasses all. But oh well. ^>^

That sounds about right. But it involves a lot of people. People wouldn't waste their time on that; not with the way that they are indoctrinated. There is a line that i can't remember who said it, or how exactly it goes, but its along the lines of: " Change only happens when there are rivers of blood " or something like that i don't quite remember.

Gonna ask you two to stop. Take the conversation to PMs or something. This guild, and probably the entirety of Gaia isn't really the place to discuss overthrowing a country.
