[Foxfur purred as he sat by the nursery entrance]
"Don't worry, they'll get used to you. Ducky, eh? Great name. I promise I'll remember it"
[Just then, Willowheart padded over, and sat beside Foxfur]
"Hello Willowheart, this is Marcy, Ducky, and..erm..what's the grey kit's name?"

 S m o k e k i t"If I have nothing to live for . . ."_______________________________________Smoke frowned when he heard the cats talking. He peeked out of the nursery and looked at Willowheart "hi there. I named myself Smoke, on acount of, my ear". He said as he twitched it, then looked at Foxfur "I'm sorry about earlier, it's just you look like a fox and". He just stopped right there and looked at the ground "well, I'm scared of foxes"._____________________________________". . .Why do I keep on going?"

[Shatteredfang sighed, watching silently as Honeypaw took care of Darkshadow. She felt slightly queasy, seeing all the blood on the ground. She sighed. There was nothing she could do now.
She turned to the warriors den, and then to the nursery. She would have to move in there soon enough. A scent caught her off guard though. What was with the unfamiliar cats?
Hissing, she padded over to Foxfur, growling slightly.] "Has our Clan become as soft as StormClan, and taken in rogues and kittypets?" she asked, her stumpy tail twitching in annoyance.
[The brown tabby stretched her head down until she was nose to nose with the smoky colored one. Her crooked jaw was almost aligned with his.] "And what perhaps is your name?" she asked, a fake glimmer of interest in her eyes.

[Willowheart smiled]
"What a wonderful name!" she meowed.
[Foxfur grinned, nodding slightly]
"It's alright, I understand"
[He turned to Shatteredfang, a slight snarl on his face]
"What did you expect me to do, Shatteredfang? Feed them to Bones? Well he's dead now, but the territory is covered in foxtraps and StarClan knows what else. What if your kits were off somehwere, all alone, and when someone finds them, some stuck up, cocky she-cat says 'Oh no, they're not from here. Send them away', how do you think they'd feel? Huh?" he snarled.
[Willowheart stood up, and pushed herself in between the two cats, knowing a fight was about to start]
"Stop it. Right. Now"

There isn't a day...  [Marcy's eyes widened at the mentioning of clans.] "Stormclan? My daddy was from Nightclan!" [she mewed excitedly.] "My mommy's dead now but I remember him telling me about the clans!" [She was indeed, frightened by the large tabby but was a bit more excited at the fact that she was half clan cat.] ...when I don't go missing you, sister.

[Shatteredfang glared at Foxfur, flexing her claws. "That's hardly a good scenario, Foxfur," she growled. "I would have the common decency to look after my kits. Unlike the mothers and fathers of these kits," she growled.
She continued, ignoring Willowheart. "Do you know how weak we'd look to the other Clans if we took these kits in?" she asked "We would only be setting ourselves up for taunts and jeers of our soon to be kittypet tainted blood, and eventually, another Clan would invade us, and you, the weak, spineless deputy wouldn't have the guts to defend yourself," she growled, almost slashing at him.

"You don't know one thing about these kits. Maybe their parents died, huh. Have you thought about that, Shatteredfang? And you're one to talk, falling in love and having kits with a cat who doesn't even belong to this Clan! And for your information, every Clan has at least one kittypet or rogue in it by now, so they have no reason to invade us. You're completely delusional. You might be cold-hearted, but I'm not. I'm not willing to send these kits away just because they weren't born in our nursery by one of our queens. I'm not weak. I'm not spineless. I just care about these kits, regardless of where they came from!" he spat.

The apprentice spat the mixture onto his paw, hesitating at first, then went ahead to apply it to his broken hind leg. His mind stilled whirred with fear from the prophecy, as well as Darkshadow's health.]
Thank StarClan it's not an open fracture…
“I don't know Darkshadow…There're just really sick cats in this world,” he meowed grimly, his paws working quickly as he tightly wrapped thick cobwebs around Darkshadow's broken leg. Before he even finished, he heard snarls and hisses erupt from their Clanmates. Whirling around, Honeypaw took a pawstep away from Darkshadow to yowl at Shatteredfang and Foxfur, emerald eyes ablaze, “Foxfur! Shatteredfang! Please, in the name of StarClan, stop this madness, now! As much as I'd like to agree with Foxfur, whether the kits stay or go is Lavenderrain's decision, not yours…Can one of you help me? I need to help Darkshadow limp over to Hauntedheart's den. He won't be walking for a while…”
[By the time Honeypaw finished, his voice had reverted to its soft, comforting tone. Chest heaving, he turned back to Darkshadow and swiftly tied up the cobwebs on his leg before looking back at the warriors to see if anyone had volunteered to help.]_____________________

DARKSHADOW Do you hear me?

Across the deep, blue, ocean.
Under the open sky.
Oh my, oh baby I'm trying. "Too many so far.."[He said in disgust. Why were there so many sick cats in this world? He watched As Honeypaw yowled at Foxfur and Shatteredfang. What now? He sighed as the apprentice asked one of them to volunteer.]

He heard what Honeypaw had asked and took the chance to run out of the nursery. He stopped in front of the cat, his tail twitching. She bowed slightly to Honeypaw, returning a glare to the deputy. Without another word, she stalked out of the nursery, padding quickly out of camp.]

[As soon as Honeypaw started yowling at them, Foxfur snapped back, and started ignoring the she-cat. He padded over with Smoke, and circled around Darkshadow anxiously]
"I'll help. Darkshadow, how're you feeling?" he lowered his voice, "Sorry for yelling at your mate. She seems to hate me"
