You're welcome. Sometimes free items increase in value after a while. Case in point -- the Skittles rainbow. I bought a bunch at 100 or less. I made a good profit. I wish I had held them longer. They're selling for over 2,000 today.
The owl buddy is selling for 2,000+ this morning. I don't think it will get much higher, if at all. Agree? Disagree?

Thanks, Harv! We'll see what happens to their value. The Marketplace has been unpredictable lately...

Yes, 3nodding the Marketplace is very topsy turvy. It seems every other day things either go way up or way down. sweatdrop

Lately the market seems to make the items I want to sell be priced low and things I want to buy price really high.
There are rumors that there are groups who manipulate the market by hoarding and price fixing.
There's a thread trying to affect the fish market... trying to urge people to lower prices.
All this to say... do you have any guesses about whether there will be any booty grab after the Big Fish Kill in mid-October? So far I haven't seen the subject in public threads or any guilds. Have you?

I do think it is happening, that is to say people hoarding and holding back. I have only seen a few but one time while going threw old Forum Postings I found a post with what seemed to be a like 1 billionare party.
It was like 2 or 3 months old and they were talking about certain items they were all going to buy a lot of but I cant remember which item/items.
I havent heard anything about the Boody Grabbing game dissappearing exactly but if they do kill off a lot of the high yeilding fish that drop good gold then it will definately suffer. sweatdrop

Well, buddies, according to the announcement sticky at the top of the aquarium thread, the so-called "immortal fish" will be killed off in mid-October. If gaia does what they said, all my dolphins will die in mid-October. My plan is to fill my tank with nerfed fish ow in Barrett's tank, until they die. I wonder how many "good" tank owners will do the same. The reason I mention -- if you use booty grab as a good source of income, grab for the next 4 weeks. Then who knows what tanks will remain after the Big Kill. I'm dreading it.

Man, that's a drag... But, who knows? Maybe this could maybe fix Gaia's economy a little? I dunno...

I do hope it fixes the big flucuations in Marketplace, but I am sad it is going to kill so many profitable tanks in the process as well.
Wish they had a better way. sweatdrop

Gaia thinks it's booty grab that's causing market inflation. Maybe. But there was inflation before booty grab. They tried to fix it with the 2% tax. That didn't fix it.
After the Big Kill there will be fewer fish available. According to principles of supply and demand, that suggests the price of fish will go up. We'll see.
Latelly dolphins have been going up and down in the range of 699k to 714k

Wow, need to invest in Dolphins soon before they are gone.
Yes, I think this may just make the Marketplace go more off-the-wall price wise.
