Garoth shifted a little when an explosion went off near his side. ~It would appear Aislin has exited the building.~ Garoth told Gab as moved his head to give Gab a view of her.

"Wait..." Aislin said holding onto him, She'd been watching behind them to make sure no one was following. She'd seen the different girl go down, "She doesn't look like she belongs here."
Gab sat up at the sound of the explosion, He whimpered, "Aislin..."

Nikoli shakes his head. "Not our problem. If she's here and she's supposed to be, then she's not a friend. If she's not, then that means she's going to have an escort. Unless you want a fight on your hands, this mission is over!"

Aislin couldn't help but look back at the girl as she and Nikoli fled. She felt bad for leaving the poor thing, but Nikoli was right. Besides that, Aislin wanted to return to Barick in one piece, and she didn't know if Nikoli would back her up if she went back. She tightened her hold on his hand, and picked up her pace so he was no longer dragging her. "Gab, We're moving out... Fast. Come to me, baby boy."
"Bye!, Garry" The little dragon took a diving leap off Garoth's nose, using his wings to glide to the ground. Then he started running. On all fours he was faster than any dog or cat. Too bad he wasn't old enough to fly just yet.

"The little one," Aislin called as Gab came into view. Without Stopping she lowered a hand and Gab used it as a spring board to climb onto her back. She already knew how to protect herself from being followed. One of the larger ones was heavy on her mind, "Should we split up? Or stay together to watch each others back?"

Nikoli considers it. "You may be right. I'm going to follow you a ways back and eliminate any pursuers that might try to get the drop on you. That should cover your way all the way back to the Ruins."

Aislin pulled ahead, Gab riding on her back like some kind of monkey. They were far out of hearing range for the girl. The elf pulled watched her steps, making sure to step where the ground was dry so that there wouldn't be as deep of footsteps. She paused at a tree for a breather looking around for followers or Nikoli.

When Aislin stops, Nikoli pauses in the shadow of a tree, his shade making his form fade into shadow. He draws his crossbow, looking for movement. He wasn't a fan of taking a break in an unsecured area, but he could still cover her.
