"Fine," Sanvi said. She dropped back behind Cassandra. Part of her hoped that Leo would release Aquaria, but the other half hoped he wouldn't, so she couldn't attack and make matters worse.

Reluctantly, Sanvi released Garin. She watched him carefully to be sure that he wouldn't attack anyone.

Garin ran over so he was in between Leo and the others. His eyes flicked around like he was afraid.
"There, now give us something in return," Cassandra told Leo.
"She attacked me, I can't just let her go," Leo said.

Aquaria struggled as much as she could. "Lemme go," she whispered. She tried desperately to get free so she could attack again.
