I was surprised that I actually managed to grab all the possible prizes for the prom. :3 I thought that the 20th round with the crown to get will have a requirement of 100% correctness, but it didn't! And I was really happy with it. :3 My record was 100% on easy, on medium I played once and got about 42%... I think it's a bit lame score, but it is about a year or something since last play Stepmania.

I think it would be great if this dancing game which we had on the prom was actually in the standard set of everyday games which we have on Gaia. I would play only this one! :3

And I'm okay. The long weekend is coming (since we have Corpus Christi feast on Thursday and Friday is free also) so there will be some time to breath some fresh air and... start preparing for the finals. D:

Have anyone watched the Semifinals of the Eurovision which were a while ago? I'm superexcited that both Poland and Finland (which I cast my vote on) are in the Finals now!

I completely agree with you. I think that dancing would be fun and it gives pretty good gaia gold. I'm also surprised that I got all the items, like you I thought round 20 would be 100%. I haven't even got 100% on easy my highest is 97% eek

I don't play DDR...the mat always moves around and messes me up .-.
Yeah, the prom game was awesome! I thought it'd be more like just a giant gathering where you would talk to people you never knew and would never see again. XP
Whew. Last month of school! I'm going to die XO

The Semifinals of the Eurovision? What's that? O:

Eurovision is a song contest which is organized once a year (since 1956) by the countries which are associated in the European Broadcasting Union (that is, I think, all the european countries plus Russia). Every year the contest is held in different country (this year it's in Belgrad, Serbia) and every year each country has there a representative who performs a song on which people can vote. What is worth pointing out is that if somebody is for example, from Great Britain, he cannot vote on a song which is performed by his country's representative. This way the voting is fair because both large and small countries have same chances for winning.
And of course the winner gets the Grand Prix statuette.

Sorry if my explanation is a bit shabby. I was doing my best. sweatdrop

So it's similar to the American Idol competition, with the exception of the countries-can't-vote-for-themselves thing. That's cool! Not to mention a great way to promote inter-country unity.

I feel so free today. It's rather odd.
You know what's frightening? It costs more for a gallon of gas than it does a cup of Starbucks coffee. That's...not right. It's bothering >.> American Airlines just made it so it costs money to check in a bag. Eek.

I had this brilliant philisophical question to propose, but then I forgot it. Oh well. I'll post it when (if...) I remember. XP

Thanks for clarifying! ^_^ And no problem, it was highly understandable 3nodding

Yes, I saw this political cartoon; it showed a mother holding a gallon of milk and a gallon of gas... It was the same price c(x Anyway. I think the gas prices have been going up by around 4 cents per day. We pass by the same gas station everyday in the morning bus ride (and I'm sooo bored during that time) and I watch as the price goes up. XD

Yeah, it's really depressing. And China is limiting the amount of rice we get. That doesn't make much sense to me, because I always thought we got our rice from Australia...or maybe I'm mixing up things in my head again.
Oh no! The Slytherin commons has one more page than us! When did that happen?

The gas prices are distressing, especially since I have to pay for it. I wish I lived in a big city so I wouldn't have to pay for gas or insurance and any other crap. Its physically impossible though in california not to drive, unless you want to stay home all day. That's cool about Eurovision and stuff, I never knew that China was limiting the rice we get, that doesn't bother me so much since I don't eat much rice. What bothers me is the high price of tortillas, since corn is so expensive and is used for ethanol. I'm super excited for the weekend, on saturday morning I'm going to the dentist down in Tijuana, Mex, (its a lot cheaper there) and then I'm going to a quincenera right afterwards. I get to dance! xd

I am horribly confused though about relationship things and boys though, if anyone would give me advice.

Has anyone wondered why the half-blood prince trailer didn't come out with Narnia? I saw the twilight one and man the guy who plays Cedric is hot in that movie. heart

Yeah...
Relationship things?
Do you have any specific questions? (Otherwise I'd probably go off on a rant about the oddest things ever)
I dunno...I don't watch trailers. I feel like I'm spoiling the movie. >.>

The improv show was hilarious! I'm glad I went.

I couldn't watch Eurovision 'cause I live in California, but I did see the GB contestants on a talk show. I thought they were alright, but a bit over the top. I don't know how well they did, though. Have they chosen a winner?

I just barely got all the prom items! Did you all vote in this week's poll yet? It asks whether the prom dancing game should be made permanent! Go vote, if you haven't already! Also, I think there are petitions on that subject, but they may be superfluous with the poll being on that subject... I hope it becomes a regular gaia game! I think I could get better at it if I had the chance!

Oh yes, I heard about this problem in United States with corn and ethanol. I think it's really serious. o_o I don't know what they are planning to do but I hope they come up with some good idea soon...

I already voted for making the prom dance a regular game. ^_^ Alast those guys up there heard my prayers!

No, there's no winner yet. The finals are today (that is 24 of May), 8 PM of the London time.

Has anyone been on Indiana Jones in cinema already? I was and I must say it was really nice and well done movie. : ) The ending was a bit odd but, oh well, it's not that I did not expect such ending after some of the plot got uncovered... Of course, Harrison Ford is now a bit older, but reaaaally... he's still such an awesome guy. <3 I was raised on Indiana Jones trilogy, so I'm quite sentimental towards his movies...

Oh! David Cook won American Idol! I honestly didn't mind who won. Though I preferred David Cook a bit more. ^_^

I need to pick a movie to see! I want to see Iron Man and Prince Caspian. A lot of my friends say that Iron Man is AMAZING and I should go see it... But then a lot of my friends say Prince Caspian is supersuper hot [...?] and the movie is good too. So I think I'm gonna go see Iron Man, but any suggestions?

Paraphernalia, you should probably give some basic background, but otherwise I'm willing to help! smile

I agree, I don't watch trailers...

Well the relationship thing is fixed, I think I picked the right person in the end. It was between a guy that is well cute and really nice and likes me and between my friend. I chose the guy because I think he would have been better for me and I could say that, I have a boyfriend and be more open about it than being with my friend. Because I love my friend, shes one of my best friends, but what we would have had is purely physical maybe? Not only that but it would be hidden, because my family don't know and couldn't know since they are Catholic and homophobic, friends would not care, plus she's moving to Humboldt to go to college so yeah, only gives us what a few months? That's why I really don't want to explain it cuz, well I don't know about the Gaia rules about Sex and stuff (I don't want to violate it). So Never mind. Yeah, I definitely recommend Ironman cuz its awesome ( I am Ironman..) xp Caspian was hot but the movie was very warlike, but its okay if you like that sort of stuff. The book was just better, I think.

Ah, I see.
Well para, good luck! =D
Is Prince Caspian one of the Narnia series? (...)
Oh yeah...my dad is obsessed with Indiana Jones. I thought the old movies were pretty good for their time... How was it?
Oh noesss we're all going to die from lack of corn and oil and rice and...I think that's it. Eh. Let's all eat...cotton! XDDD We should see if the appendix actually has a use or not. Who knows, maybe it digests dirt. Yum.
I think you should watch Iron Man. It's supposed to be amazing. And just because Prince Caspian is hot (I dunno, never seen the piccys) who knows about the plot...

Alright! Iron Man it is! =D

Paraphernalia, good luck! (: Well. My boyfriend is a grade younger than me, and since I'm leaving next year, I think we decided that we'll have to break up at the end of the year. It feels kind of funny, knowing that it'll happen when the time comes. But for now, just trying to keep things as positive as possible and enjoy the time we have together. I know that it's the right decision; after I leave, we'll rarely be able to see each other again. So it'd be extremely hard to maintain a relationship. But it does hurt a lot at the same time...

Fanfiction Contest? *head whizzes around and flees*
