"Is something wrong?" Karri asked, just catching the girls change in demeanor despite how quickly it seemed to pass, watching the girls hand glide across Akara's fur.

"If you say so," Karri said with a shrug, leaning back in her seat and folding her hands, resting them atop the book in her lap, "I've been here since I was about 14, so about five years now. I'm one of the Exorcists."

Akara blinked and began squirming in the girls arms, trying to get her to loosen her grip.

"I am," Karri laughed at Hyber's exuberance and the small huff of indignation that escaped Akara, "And that happens to be it in your arms now, well, one part of it anyway."

Akara settled a bit when the grip was loosened, resting her front paws on Hyber's arm and her paws on top of them.

"It can be," Karri said slowly, "It was pretty scary in the beginning though. My innocence isn't like most, I'm not just using a normal weapon against the akuma, I'm sending my best friends up against them, so that used to terrify me a great deal-still does at times, but not so much as before."

She laughed at the younger girl's exuberance once more, leaning farther back against the couch, "Traveling is pretty fun, and I have been quite a ways from here but it's not all its cracked up to be. I think I'd of grown bored of it long ago if I were doing it alone all the time."

"You'd be surprised at what the two of them can do-I know I was," She laughed, the memory of the first time the innocence within the two had activated striking her as amusing for some odd reason. She had never thought her two cubs were capable of harming a fly and then she'd seen them up against the akuma, "Maybe we'll show you what we can do some time. I wouldn't mind showing you around around at all, you'd just have to let me know when."

"They were."

She reached out, smootthing a bit of Akara's ruffled fur so that it lay down her side to cover the scars a bit. Akara made a soft sound in the back of her throat and jumped up onto the back of the couch once more before pushing Karri's hair aside and nestling on the blonde's shoulder's, her tail wrapping around Karri's arm as she rested her head on her paws.

"I remember when I first arrived, I felt the same. If not of Akara and Ari I probably would have gotten lost numerous times before I learned my way around. I'm free now if you like. I should probably go find Arianna anyway, before she gets into trouble."

Karri stood and stretched her arms above her head, mindful of the fox on her shoulders, before straightening her skirt.

"Why thank you," She said with a nod as she walked out the door, "If I had to guess I'd probably have to say the courtyard would be the best bet. She tends to disappear there fairly often when we're here so that would be the best place to start looking."
