I need to start writing down all the crazy things my dad says throughout the day.
"Oh, Megan! We need to pick up ground zero pop*!" "...wut."
*Pop is a midwestern word for "soda".

Phoenix Goliathane What the ******** did Cali do THIS time? ...and is it one of their wacky Propositions? California's a beautiful state, but their politics are completely ******** up. And this is coming from a New Jerseyan. The violent videogame ban. There's a thread in the AMC full of people thinking that because they'd be old enough to buy the games anyways, or don't live in California, they would be wholly unaffected by it. I currently have someone trying to tell me that comparing an A (which a legislated rating board like would be required here would reclassify a lot of M stuff as) rated game to an NC-17 rated movie (in that both are currently considered kisses of death by their respective industries) is a bad analogy. And, of course, most of these tools don't think the impact to the industry itself would affect their supply of 18+ games. Lulz.

So, Stream, when is Operation: Surfing Nevada supposed to start? We need to make sure our fellow Californian AGers have enough time to buy new beachfront property.

Ok, AG pokelamers. What's the difference between HeartGold and SoulSilver? Is it just a few different beasties in each, or is there a real difference in the games?
I ask because I'm getting Stinky one since he's now into pokemans and has a birthday coming up. And I want to continue being the best uncle EVAR.

It's really just the Pokemon you can catch in the game. On average, neither set of version exclusives is really better than the other, so it comes down to personal taste. (Version Exclusives)
The plot differs only a little, in that the story has you pursue a different "legendary" Pokemon (the one that's on the cover) in each game, though you've got the chance to get the other version's legendary a little later in the game. As such, there's a slight difference in the order of one quest. Otherwise the story's the same.

Yes, research... Or, doing that could upset the balance, set up several different timelines, different universes, etc etc... Which would probably please Stream, since it means more universes to devour, and take him longer to decide to devour our own.
