themightyjello No he didn't. I believe I gave the finger to that ruling. By giving the finger, you mean not allow it? Or allow it?

Chrjo12 So, the ability "General Ice Manipulation" wouldn't fly for Rynn?
If so, WTF. Hydrokinetic or whichever works for Ice might have worked.

Dreslin, stop speaking for my slaves. Dreslin By giving the finger, you mean not allow it? Or allow it? Meaning I cracked their heads together and told them to stop being such hard-asses and number-munchers.

Dressy-Poo....that's not what my ability is at all though...
Ice Elementalist, not Psionicist.
Would I be forced to be like... 1)Ice shard 2)Ice dome 3)Cold 4)Tactical Ice Nuke
??

You'd just have to describe the limits of the elemental manipulation.
"I can do THIIIIIS much."
You don't need a movelist unless you intend to use moves. Though with a generic "I control this" there need to be limits in place as to how 'powerful' of a control it is.

I entered my Blood Elemental, and he got accepted... I had to tweak some stuff (and drop a completely useless ability, oh my), but not enough to be an issue.

It'll be back next year. With the amount of people who wanted in but didn't make it for '07, HoH '08 might have those 32 slots.

Coyote Ragtime Show opening, subbed. Gotta love it.
--- To those who've unfortunately delved into message board software [AKA, had Death bone your soul in the a**,]
IPB v1.3.1 Bolt is underway. I've always enjoyed IPB over phpBB [phpBB = what Gaia runs off of, albeit, heavily modified,] but.. IPBv2.x + not only costs cash, but in my opinion, sucks balls. Sure, they have some very nice features- but none that can't be implemented into v1.3.x.. anddd.. the skinning for 2.x + also fails utterly.
Bolt will use the newest security patches, have IPB v1.3.x supported on the newest MySQL/PHP 5.x.x, look similar [though more suited towards my website's design] to IPB v2.x +, have roughly all of the standard features of 2.x, and, will be heavily modified towards having a number of features I've, personally, not seen on very many, if any, other message boards.
Nice example: ImageBoard integration. [4Chan's a popular example of an imageboard. Granted, it's used for more than just hosting pictures, but there ya.. go'.] The image upload function in posts will have a small field, asking whether one wants that image displayed on the imageboard, and with a drop-down menu, which category to place it under.
Trying to get something going for roleplaying, too: The 'PLOT System'. Basically, in large roleplays, things get jumbled up- and ignored- quite quickly. Hard not to, in a topic with, say.. 50,000 posts? Then, if you get into alternate topics, alternate storylines, 'time skips' - it gets damned confusing in a hurry for the average frequenter.
In enters this system. Basically, and I'm still trying to work this out, one.. can use what's called, the PLOT tag [something as simple as [PLOT] [/PLOT], BBCode] - and the text will have it's own special quotation box, and will have a banner [faint] behind it.
Now, whenever one makes a topic in the roleplay section(s), there'll be an option to have a "Roleplay Database". Unique to a topic, and can be shared with numerous topics/have owners of the database changed or added upon [in case the topic's owner is not active or, simply, decides to leave,] these "Databases" will be a mixture of an online text file, and a Wiki. One can access all Databases of these sorts by selecting the Database category in their Control Panel.
Now, the [PLOT] tag.. will send the text to the topic's database owner [if the topic in fact, has one.] The owner will receive it in the form of a PM; the PM'll:
A. Come up. B. Have two small images, asking if the user'd like to add it to their database or no. C. A quotation of the text below.
If accepted, it's brought to another screen, the Database Editing screen, where one can add that chunk of text [and format/edit it, if they wish] under any number of categories, which they, themselves, can add. --------------------- Nice example of how this would come into play: A weapon hiarchy could be added for a roleplay, and for each new weapon, it's name & description could be [easily with a few clicks] added into the database. Or, specific plot lines. Or characters. If there was a cooking roleplay, one could have a category for ingredients. Hell, whatever floats with the roleplay's subject.
Keeps things organized, let's new users to an old roleplay get into it & see exactly what's going on [or has gone on,] etc. --------------------- Main problem I see with this, is keeping it simple. Make it too complexed, and users won't want to use it.. make it bare-assed simplistic, however, and there won't be enough customization to use it effectively.
Tweaking abound. crying
[Monseiru]: I'll be posting again before long here.
