YOU should read gakuen alice ^^
haha i've been meaning to read ouran for ages. I am up to vol. 7 of vampire knight, even if i did skip vol. 6. I have no idea why. its release run in Hong Kong was EXTREMELY LIMITED lol.

My friend got me hooked to Vampire Knight and I self ventured into Ouran. There's so many manga's I want to read. Also, Deathnote is awesome.
Air Gear, Gakuen Alice, Petshop of Horrors, Lucky Star, Midori Days, Trinity Blood, Love Hina, Reborn!, Eyeshield21, Hellsing, and a few others are ones I want to read. XD

I absolutely recommend Gakuen Alice. It's so good.
Unlike Vampire Knight, I actually remember what the hell happened in between waiting for volumes.
I also recommend Area no Kishi and REAL (by inoue takehiko) ^^

I recommend 07 Ghost. It's a great new manga series (English volume one just came out this month), so it doesn't have an anime yet, but it's an excellent read. You can find it online at onemanga.com. The mang-ka duo actually used to be former Naruto doushinji-ists. xDD The art is lovely and the plot seems to be moving along well (but like Kishi's work, it will have some hard-to-follow areas). I think Code Geass and Fullmetal Alchemist fans would appreciate it.
Another good series is Monochrome Factor. It's a fairly new series too and out in English up to like volume 3. You can find it on mangafox.com, which has less well-known titles. 3nodding WARNING: The anime version of this series... Do not watch it, it's atrocious. Totally butchered the plot... Not that I expected much, since the director was the same dude who did the cliff-hanger Loveless series. U_U Now, some might disagree and say Monochrome Factor has no plot to begin with, but as always, though it may seem a little redundant at the beginning, the later chapters will make more sense... And the manga is just awesome, by the way.
If people come to like either series and may be curious about raws for later volumes...ask me!
