*Cross walked up to the woman at the counter and asked for a table for two. She called a waiter over and he led them both to a nice table, seated next to a big window where we could see some stars outside and a big fountain across the street. The waiter handed Cross and Marie menus and walked off.*
"So, what would you like to order?"
