"Yes. And if he didn't take Nym then he is coming back. Make sure Zykariel knows that, Keely. I think something happened between them, something that affected him more than Kariel will say." Shaking her head and then cuddling the ferret once more. "Yes. I just need someone to stay with me for a little while."
Nadai was exactly right but a quick trip upstairs told him that his little brother was in reverie and it wouldn't be fair to pull him out of it for his own selfish reasons. Thus, he went back to his own room and plopped down, gazing out the window and waiting.

"Can do." Grabbing a nearby chair that was at a desk he plopped it by the bed and then plopped down in it. "As I said before, the night has definiately become eventful." Trying to ignore upset ferret noises though.
More cuddling and he calmed down some, snuggling into her under the covers. His job to take care of her and all.
Moving the boy's bedroom, she sat on the end of his pet and gave him one of those pets that a mother would through his hair and over his back. "As you mother pointed out...Nym is still here. You know they never stay seperate for long. Maybe you should just try to get some reverie though, hm?

She was overjoyed that he was with her and snuggled him tightly against her, happy to have a piece of Sevilin since she couldn't have the man right now. "Sitting on that chair is silly, Nadai. Come sit on the bed. It won't hurt your bottom nearly as much."
"Yeah..." Not that he was planning on it, of course. He was going to sit at his window and watch for his father until he came walking up those steps. After that, well he didn't know but he wasn't about to not know precisely when Sevilin Inthara came walking back into the house.

Moving over to sit on the edge of the bed, he propped his boots up in the chair and reached over to pet through her hair in comforting fashion, despite the angry noises from under the covers that came from the ferret again. "Doesn't like me much, but that's okay. No worries Zahara...these kinds of things smooth out easily."

Leaning over, she pressed a kiss to his cheek like she used to when he was a little child and he was upset, usually something that happened when his mother was being rejection like at the time. "Give him a bit...if it seems out of hand, we can go look for him. Promise."

Zahara's eyes opened slowly and she exhaled as the chest pillowed beneath her cheek rose and fell with his breathing. No, not Sevilin but Nadai. Zahara scooped up the ferret sleeping on her still flat belly and pressed a kiss to his furry head. He'd been her constant companion since Sevilin had left. Making her way downstairs, she made a cup of tea and sat at the table, trying to get some kind of motivation for starting her day.
96 hours. 5,760 minutes. 345,600 seconds. No, it had to be longer than that. Four days, six hours, thirty-five minutes and nine, ten, eleven... seconds since his father had walked away from him. His mother still wasn't worried and neither was Keely but Nadai hadn't left since that night. Keely was in and out, taking care of Twilight but also checking in on them. Was he ever coming back? Zykariel didn't know. Right now he was slumped against the windowsill, deep in reverie. He'd finally succumbed.

He yawned and curled more into a ball even as he was scooped up for the trip downstairs. Though he was clearly upset again this morning just as he had been every morning. He is not supposed to be sleeping in your bed! And you wonder why Sevilin is upset these days! Indeed he was a bit standoffish with her but was always coming back to comfort her ot get her going. Like right now as he was set on the table and she came to sit...he took to liking at her face and nudging at her cheeks, obviously looking for food to be made. That was his job these days...get her going then wake up the boys. Just like Sevilin wanted him to.
He snorted awake, confused for a moment by his surroundings before he remembered and settled down a moment. To him, the bed was no big deal because he didn't know that usually someone else slept in it. Stretching he got himself freshened up and started down the stairs and to the kitchen. Zahara looked just as miserable as ever....was it because Zykariel was upset? Sitting down across from her he tilted his head. "I'm sure Zykariel won't be upset forever."

There was a flash of light, and a ethereal tear in teh fabric of the world that spread into a a disc. on thier side one could see into another place, underground, but buildings of bluegray stone, dark greens and reds...and blue skinned elves.
From this portal stepped five such elves. one wore purples and gold robes, a woman with green eyes and gray hair tied in intricate ponytails. second was a male, wearing shining blue armor with skull and flam motifs, a shiled on his back that looks to be used as much as a weapon as to defend against them. his eyes were green, though he wore a skull imaged helmet.
third was a shadow. dressed in black chainmail, slick and well oiled. he had a hood with a face mask, adn the hood came just enough to conceal even his eyes. forth was another woman, wearing lighter blue robes, her black hair kept free. the woman each carried a wand. the purple robed woman's rod was simple, red and blue coiled together into a pair of hands holding a large clear jewel. the other held a plain wand with a snake head..the seemed to sway of it's own accord. the fifth merely stepped through, handed each a linkstone and another blue and black stone, before leaving back through the gateway that closed behind them.
"This place is human infested and has little to offer. I see no reason why we were sent here."
"We are here because the Queen deems we need to be here. She has an interest in anyplace a weak House like the D'vinn house can forge an empire."
"We have issues at home. the Ratonga primarily, and the Serillian Horde."
"The three of you silence. the Assassin's Guild has our interest in the D'vinn house as well. the Serillian horde is no threat, it's reach barely contains Kaladim, and the dwarves will be routing them in due time. the Ratonga are thieves, nothing more. No more dangerous then aviaks. Now, we are here. We'll split up, each take a quadrant of the city. we'll find the leaders, report and then take this place, and spread our search for the D'vinns."
The streets of Deepwater were about to get bloody.

Blissfully unaware of the chaos taking place not too far from her own home, she ran a finger over the rim of her teacup and shook her head. "Don't yell at me, Nym." She was tired of sleeping alone, tired of not having someone to comfort her and she absolutely refused to be pregnant and alone. Petting him gently, she glanced up as Nadai came down and plopped down across from her. "He's finally in reverie." Shaking her head. "I still can't get him to tell me anything about what happened. I'm worried about him."

Well if I know anything about children, it's that when they say some things that they regret and aren't proud of at all and wish had never left their mouths, they don't like to repeat them and bring them back up. Maybe that's what happened. When his father comes back I'm sure it'll get worked out." Watching her a moment. "I'm not as good a cook as you, but if you're not up to food I can make it. Kelli will want to eat at least..."
No, you won't touch the kitchen. You'll make a mess and you probably won't give me any scraps either. Probably push me off the counters and everything. Chittering before sniffing some at Zahara's tea and taking a few laps at it. Mmm minty.

"That's very sweet of you, Nadai, but I'll be just fine. I like cooking and it will help me get moving and start my day. Besides, Nym and I like to cook together." Picking up the ferret and plopping him on her shoulder before mixing up the dough for pancakes. "He should be getting up shortly though. Zykariel probably wont' stir at all today since he's so exhausted from not having any reverie at all. Silly boy." Shaking her head and handing a berry off to the ferret on her shoulder. They'd done this so many times in the past it was second nature.

That's right, we don't need you to help cook or anything. You're just a troublem-BERRY! A happy chitter from him, despite his love of meat and bugs he had a soft spot for juciy sweet berries. Taking it in nimble paws he chittered happily and munched away. Though he was keeping his ears perked for sounds of crying toddlers and everything else.
"Best to let him take reverie then. If you do need any help in here, you know just yell out for me. I'll head out and let the horses out to graze and the like. Destyny too seeing as Zykariel probably won't be exercising her today so she can get her own."
More loving nuzzles from a sticky furred ferret now who was licking at his paws between those nuzzles, eyeing Nadai as he wandered out. Hopping to the counter he sat back on his back paws, crossing his front in the air, and watching Zahara. Why don't you just find out where Sevilin is yourself? You know how. Remember? We did it once together.

"Make sure Destyny knows that Zykariel is down today so she doesn't get all upset." Yes, she was sensitive to animal's moods which was probably why she got along so well with Nym. Watching him for a moment as he was looking at her intently, she frowned. That was the 'I'm trying to tell you something so stop being stupid and listen' pose. "Yes, I know you like meat better but it's breakfast, Nym." Shaking her head and then walking to the icebox and pulling out raw sausage which was quickly sliced into smaller pieces. "You can have some of this but wait for me to cook it up for you."

But I liked my berry...Chitter. She wasn't getting it...then again he hadn't done it in a while and Sevilin had since modified the thing since he had first down it for Zahara years ago. A look at the sausage that was still somewhat bloody and he snatched the bigger cut half, hopping down to the floor and duly started dragging it around on the floor in specific manner, leaving behind meaty juicy bloody lines, the little rune on his own head lighting up. Indeed, rune and activation circle...which upon activated worked more as a window this time than something to speak through like last time. The 'picutre' of course was of Sevilin...whom had his half ragged self parked up in a tree, one foot dangling lazily as he was watching out at nothing in particular. And he duly took to eating the piece of sausage he had.

"Nym...I said let me cook it first." Muttering a few other choice words before she flipped the pancakes then turned around to see what he was doing. There was blood all over her floor and- She blinked as the image of her husband was suddenly there and shook her head. "You contacted him? Nym, you beautiful, perfect ball of fluff." Scooping him up and cuddling him then watching Sevilin for a moment. Runes...how in the world could she have forgotten. "Raven?"

He chittered at her happiness and licked at her again. Can I have more berries and sausage now? I did a good job. I would also like a bath and to be towled dry and brushed because I feel dirty. Can we do that too? Hey he knew Sevilin was alright, he had other things on his mind. Like himself.
Being out here wasn't doing any good, he knew that. Just thought that maybe some time alone would be good...and yet fearing that Nadai would move right on in to his territory and would be welcomed with open arms at that. Though he was convinced that this was divine karma now, it couldn't be anything less. But his ears twitched as he head his nickname...and he looked around but didn't see anyone. Now he was on guard and that was evidenced by how he gripped his polearm then. The hell? Okay he'd venture a guess seeing as that name was rare, "Zahara...?"
