*ventures into the OOC* Damn, I haven't been here in a while.........
Sorry, 8th grade is sucking for me. I was planning on hanging out with my friends all the time but now one ignores me and calls me an immature b***h behind my back and I don't have time to deal with that s**t right now stressed Pretty much everyone in the class hates me, except for like 5-7 people, we have 25 kids. I was nominated to be in the School Council but no one voted me in to actually compete. Everything's falling apart.
Not to mention I have a History test tomorrow and I have to find out what 3 high schools I'm choosing and confirmation and all that stressful s**t. I have completely lost the will to do my English homework even though I love writing. I've lost the will to talk to my friend and I just burst out and start yelling at people for small things. My principal is being an a*****e.......I hate my school.

A. North
1- 800,000 soldiers needed jobs
a- factories laying off workers-goverment cancelled war orders that filled
by the factories
2- More soldiers lost than the South
a- farmers were affected
B. South
1- Every house, farm, and bridge was destroyed
2- Railroads turned into a heap of metal
3- Found cities leveled
a- Columbia, South Carolina
b- Richmond, Virginia
c- Atlanta, Georgia
4- South was in financial ruin- banks closed and people lost their money
5- Freedmen- men and women who had been slaves

Lincoln's Plan
1- 10% of each southern state had to swear an oath of loyalty to the United States
2- State formed new goverments

Wade Davis Bill
1- majority of white southern men in each state had to swear loyalty to the Union

Johnson's Plan
1- majority of voters of southern states had to pledge loyalty to the United States
2- Had to ratify the 13th Amendment- banned slavery throughout the nation
B. Friedman's Bureau- goverment agency that helped the slaves
1- Gave food and clothing
2- Helped freedmen find jobs
3- Helped poor whites
4- Gave medical care
5- Set up schools for poor whites and free blacks
C. Congress Rebels
1-Men you led south of the Union were being elected to lead it back into the

the Civil War to reassert white supremacy by means of violence.

I. Sharecroppers- person who rents a plot of land from another person and
farms it in exchange for a share of the crop.
1- planter gives sharecroppper seed, fertilizer, land, and tools

J. Cycle of Poverty-

Well... that was a completely random thing to stick in the OOC forum... I usually keep my notes on my folder or, very occasionally, in a word document. I never chose history as an A level and I still know moire about it than most of the people who did take it, due to me being interested in history ^^;; I wish I hadn't taken AS Maths, but they won't let me drop out now ;__;
Maybe I should ditch the test on tuesday twisted
Then again, I need 3 A levels at C or above to get into Uni, so I guess that's not an option. /sigh.

Ah well, I have my pre-op today to fix my knee, so in a few weeks my 4 Year wait for this operation will be over. I'll be able to walk without pain, once again smile

Black Cat Godess Please...You guys could find a new demon mod in a snap if I left. I'm usually a pretty zen and "let things come as they are" person, and not to mention patient and calm (usually) but all of this is now REALLY starting to ******** tick me off. I'm glad I didn't have a drag of that "funny" f** that my mate offered to me yestersay... had to have a urine test today for my pre-op. That would not look good on the tests ^^;;

Ack I hate school(history)... my mom found out i had bad grades and like grounded me for life i'm not even supposed to be on the com now. I think 8th grade is the worst grade, i hate it. I think most people hate school. My mom's such a b***h i like hate her.... my life sux stare

Your school system is diffrent from ours (canada) , I've gone to the same school for 8-12. Not so good for the 8's, but keep your head down and all goes well.
biggrin Much more fun now that I'm in 12. It does get better as you get older. In comparision at the very least.

Gabby, Silly, just tough it out. 8th grade isn't that bad. Trust me. Tough it out, and soon enough you'll be a junior, and almost done!
Your life can't suck when you're that young. There's much more to look forward to, and much more tough things coming your way. High school is harder than junior high, so take that into consideration. Look forward to the good times, and don't dwell on the bad.
