Eliza nodded. Those traps... you thought that you got away, but your bodies are actually back in the tunnel a ways. Some sort of lethal gas, I think. Johann's ghost is trapped because he's so perfectly balanced between life and death, the tie to his body hasn't been severed yet. But you... you're a little bit farther gone. That's why you could leave.

Technically, yes. And Johann as well. A few more hours, and it'll be irreversable. Eliza seemed undisturbed by the notion, as if it was too much trouble to get worked up over. Better hope that someone finds the two of you before your lungs are so damaged you pass on.

Netsubo reached the house and went inside. The damage was immense, but she could suprisingly move around all of it,"Mephisto!! Yuki!!"She called as loudly as she could.

"I found one of them!" Yuki called to Mephisto, coughing violently as he struggled out of the tunnel. "It's Mom... I don't know if she's breathing or not..."
"What about Faust?" Mephistophiles asked quietly. "Any trace?"
"It's too hard to breathe down there... I had to turn back. Can you revive her?"
"I think so... then I'd better go find Faust. That gas is a doozy... they probably didn't even know what got them."

Netsubo heard their voices and went to find them. When they were in view, she gave Yuki a hug,"You're ok!"

Yuki glanced around. "Did you feel a draft just then, Mephisto? I could have sworn I felt a draft..."
Mephisto looked around. "Hm... no clue... but we need to get your mother to where there's some proper ventilation."
They can't see you, you know, Eliza said, appearing at Netsubo's shoulder.
