*Scent. That had been the first thing which had tipped her off.

Since rising again, resurrected.. no... reBORN. She closed her eyes and took a moment to let herself admit that. What Corbin had done had let her awaken anew.
That aisde, since her untimely death and rebith, she had been slowly letting herself revist old haunts, seeing them with new eyes as her internal perceptions had been altered so much.
Tonight, she was NOT sporting the new entirely human look she was capable of... she was out in typical Brujah style. Leather, gashed and worn, big boots, her vampiric nature as proudly on display as the inverted anarchy logo on her back.
She was smoking as she rode her Harley through the town.. and pulled up in suprise outside teh old Tavern. Memeories flooded through her head, and she grinned... until her nose told her what she was sensing in the back of her mind.
Darkness closed in around her. She looked more than slightly put out. SHe even growled. Then slid off the bike and stalked towards the building, crushing what was left of her cigarette underfoot as she kicked the door in and drew her sword in one hand, Kaos in the other, the gun levelled at head height ove rthe sword as she used the blade ot guard her body*

Who the ******** letting a ******** Rak into MY drinking spot?!

She was too distracted and caught up in her time with Loke to even realize the noise of the bike, but then the crashing of the door came to her. Jerking slightly as she started to sit up and hold the cloak against her body; icy blue felines eyes moved towards the familiar woman. Shaking her head slightly before relaxing against Loke once again, despite the weapons aimed at them. "Good to see you again, too, Lady Roan," she greeted her, watching her with nervous eyes. The last few times they had spoke, she had been threatened... repeatidly. Her tail had tightened a good bit around Loke's waist as her ears and wings flattened against her head. Her heart was sitting beating rather hard from the surprise of someone baring into the room, but she tried not to show it.

Like Rosie, he was too caught up in his own thoughts to even realize there was someone right outside. Practically jumping out of his fur at the sound of the door, well.. crashing, he felt his heart leap into his throat, and then he heard the voice. His wings, unlike Rosie's, were flaring atop his head in surprise, as well as shock. Hearing Rosie's greeting, he glanced up to eye the leather-clad woman, only to shake his head and then tighten his grip around his lover. In his head, he was debating playing along until he was in peril, but that was more of a one-on-one situation. Regardless, he coiled his tail around Rosie's waist before clearing his throat and glancing back up at the brujah. "Been a long time, Roan," he told her, leaning back against the arm rest now.

*her eyes flared, then narrowed. The gun didnt even falter for a SECOND.*

Up. Out. I dont care if you ARE who you sound like, I am NOT having a Frigg-spurned Rakshasa in MY bar.

*Her agression masked well her suprise at Loke's voice. Rationally, she was not willing to believe the Loke SHE had known was a Rakshasa. Of course, though she remembered ALL too well the attacks on the Tavern all those years ago, she ALSO remembered the most shots had been fired back then by herself and Ronin.
Ronin.. a wry smile. The mans grave was still out the back. It didnt matter. Rakshasa were one step below Garou in her eyes. Loke or no... this WOULD be takenm outside. Naked or not.*

Moving her hands to gently stroke his hands as he tightened his hold on her as well, she tried to nuzzle her cheek against his chest. She was curious how Roan knew about the race, but at the same time... she knew Roan was old and probably meet another along the way. She wasn't thinking that she may of known that Loke was one, due to how he had acted when they first meet. Shaking her head once again, she kept her eyes on Roan's face as she watched her carefully. "Why do you hold such a prejudice against any that can shapeshift? Do you hold such grudges against your own kind that is rumored to do such," she asked her; not referring to the ones like Ice, but the Gangrel. She didn't know for sure if they could or not, but she had heard rumors of such cainites.

Cocking an eyebrow at her demanding words, he let his eyes look over the gun, his wings sinking back against his head. After a quick sigh, he shook his head once more before faintly grinning. "C'mon, put the peashooter down," he teased her, wondering if she would listen to reason and actually take a whiff of the air in the tavern. His scent, he thought, would be instantly recognizable. His ears twitched faintly as he heard Rosie's comment, but he didn't take his eyes off the gun for a second. If her finger even so much as twitched he was prepared to rocket off the couch with Rosie in his arms, not about to let either of them get hurt. "Funny how you're not even willing to listen to reason; that's not the Roan I know," he told her, squeezing Rosie and getting ready to dash away should his words backfire.

The Loke I knew wasnt a ******** shapeshifting son of a b***h. I mean it Lankai... outside. THEN I'll listen. NOT in here.

*She tapped the ground with a boot*

Do you remember, old friend? We barricaded the windows, overturned tables, nailed anything that'd shut, shut. Then we trained our weapons on the door. I dont remember who was there. Just that you were, and Ronin. Some of the others. I dont remember, old friend, because I knew shapeshifters were coming in. Shapeshifters. Those things I DESPISE. I just remember the heat. Every blast from Kaos here... each shot... each one heated the air and if you remember the battle like I do, you'll remember the holes this thing causes. I have dragonsbreath loaded in here right now, another two clips in my pocket and Im QUICK Loke. Do you remember? I can outrun nearly everything on the planet. I can outrun YOU.
Do you remember the blood, Loke? It got everywhere. There was fur stuck into the timber round the door, all over our boots, on the tables, in the street.. flecks of bone everywhere, the stink of ruptured guts, bile and blood seeping into the wood. THIS wood Loke... I shot down more than I could count right HERE. So step outside before I let history repeat itself. This is the last time I ASK reasonably. Do not MAKE me shoot you.

Gently stroking his hand, she squeezed his waist to try to comfort him. Listening to Roan's words, she frowned slightly as she wondered what had happened that day and where her hatred for their kind had came from... Sighing softly, she glanced up at him in silent question of if they should get up or not. For now though, she wouldn't make a move to do such, simply laying in his embrace and holding on tightly to him.

Remember? The only thing he could remember was Ronin coming back a lesser man, and having to take his friends life; how he lifted the sword above his head and sliced clean through Ronin's neck. Biting on his lip, his face scrunched together a bit before he nodded, having just barely heard her words over his own thoughts. Practically gritting his teeth, he swallowed the saliva in his mouth. "Fine. We'll go outside, but Rosie stays in here until we're finished 'talking'," he told her, stirring under his cloak and unraveling his arms and tail from Rosie's waist. Before he would go anywhere, he would attempt to get dressed, and after making his way out from under his lover, he stretched and bent down to grab his pants.

Agreed. This is between us.

*she slid her sword back into its sheath, and lowered the gun, straighteneing her body, but the look of barely witheld agression remained.
As she let Loke dress, snarling disapproval at his furred form, she chose now to answer Rosie*

The Garou... the hengeyoki... ALL shapeshifters... they are all the same. They took everything form me, before I was even born, and more when I came of age. I was given no choice. My fury will punish all without distinction. I swore on it.

*her tail whip cracked behind her. It was only thanks to the Ortus of Ouroboros that she had NOT shot Loke on sight. Though she could clearly see Loke and Rosie, and ONLY them, she could also sense the bodies of the fallen. She could FEEL the blood on her hands. Her fangs lengthening... tongue slithering out from between her parted lips, lapping it up... the sound of gun fire, the sound of steel on bone, the gutteral sounds of evisceration, the light in the enemies eye as they realised they were about to die... the feel of flesh parting under her fangs, throats tearing, flesh parting with a wet sound, beautiful gore spilling from the wound. The baying of the hounds of war, the flash of the gun muzzles, the ring of a sword, the breaking of bone, the tearing of sinew, the utter destruction of her foes, fur flying, getting in her eyes, hair whipping to one side....
Yes. She remembered battle. She lived and breathed it. Her grip tightened on her gun, lowered at her side and her eyes sparked with fire as she felt her uneeded breath quicken. She couldnt help but grin. She was a monster, after all... and shapeshifters were her prey. Oh for the glory of war!*

Huffing at his words, she sat up and unwrapped her own limbs from him as she watched him starting to grab his clothes. "I'm not staying behind," she told him, using a tone that said she wasn't going to give in on it. She would be going outside with him if he liked it or not, she wasn't the one to stand by and watch something happening or be stuffed up inside. Rose also knew as well as he did; he couldn't stop her from doing such... Reaching over, she grabbed her 'top' then quickly started to pull it on as her tail grabbed the pile that was her pants and underwear. A faint blush came her cheeks but was hidden under her fur as she let the cloak drop and expose her body. Standing up now as she slipped on her panties and jeans, she looked up at Roan once agian before tilting her head to the side. "What happened," she asked her softly, her tone much more at ease now as she looked at her. She didn't think Roan would answer her, which was fine with her, after all Roan didn't owe anything to Rose, especially an explantion... but if she was going to tell her, Rose wouldn't object. Her eyes searched Roan's as she noticed the far away look as if she was lost in her thoughts.

His pants now about his waist, he grabbed his belt and looped it through rather quickly, buckling it and then reaching for his undershirt. He was just about to slip it over his arms when he heard not her comment, but more the tone of it. Raising an eyebrow, he glanced down at her out of the corner of his eye. "You're staying in here while we 'talk'," he told her, slipping his shirt about his torso now and beginning on the buttons. He was far too caught up in getting dressed to notice Roan and how she seemed to be staring off in space, not to mention some of the things he was preparing himself for her to say to him. Knowing Roan, they wouldn't be particularly nice things, either, especially given his form. And of course, one thought only seemed to bring another to his attention. Grinning, he glanced up and across the room at Roan, dressed for the most part how he needed to be, sans for his boots. "Mind if I stay like this, or are you too disgusted with this form," he asked her, cocking an eyebrow as he slipped his feet into his boots.

*Oh Rose would get an answer... just not the one she was EXPECTING. It started with a quote.*

'What ALWAYS happens when you try and take a castle by siege. A one sided bloody massacre. '

Quite simply Rosie... I killed everyone who opposed me. All those that hurt me. And then I started on teh societies that spawned them.
Imagine it for me my dear. A castle in a lush verdant land. It is filled with riches - tapestries, books, great wooden edifices which were more monuments than furniture....
I snuck in in the dakr and I killed everyone. I started by stabbing the maids. Then the children. Their little bodies writhed as I picke dthem up. They knew what I was. Human children loose their limbs so easily... like a doll...
Then I killed the women. One by one. From navel to throat, and i drank and drank and drank. After that, I sought their men folk. I snapped them in two, bent them over their own halberds, snapped their bones and tore their life out. I ripped their guts form their bellies and fed them down their throats. I smashed their knee caps in and fired crossbow bolts through their heads. I plucked out their eyes, tore their head from their shoulders and drank the gore down.
Then I went after the shifters. I pulled out their fangs and ripped into their fur. I set them alight and danced with the flames. I skinned them, flayed them and tore them to shreds. I matted their fur with blood and cut off their snouts. I ripped their claws out one by one and forced them back in backwards. I made them howl down the moon for me.
Not one survived. I burnt it all. I am a monster and a hunter, Rosie. And so are my boys.

*The last hinted at Dagoth. Only the unholy fire in Roan;s eyes showed emotion though. Her vigour was on display, her lust for battle readily apparent. This then was the warrior, the hunter, the Beast, revealed without shame, in balance to her human side. On her neck, the snakes hissed loudly and reared their heads out, sharing their mistress' lusts.*

Tonight is not a good night to tempt me. The devil is in my veins and I will dance to his tune for my cause is just and thus the means justified.

*she turned to Loke*

If you can bear to look that way, it suits my needs as well as with a shirt on. Give me cause to shoot you, and NO amount of protection is going to stop me.

*she stood aside for him to pass first.*

Snorting faintly at Loke, she pulled her pants up the rest of the way and turned away from him as she heard Roan's words. Pausing as she listened to her, her mind whirling with thoughts and even more questions going through. Shaking her head as she tried to put her thoughts in order after she finished speaking, Rose quickly did up her pants and left the belt for now as she kept her eyes on Roan. "Why though? What did they do to you, that has left you so angry," she asked her, still pseaking softly. She wasn't able to hide the shock and bit of disgust in her eyes though at hearing what she had done to those people. Nor did the hint at Dag miss her, she knew what Dag was... somewhat; she just didn't know what he was planning or doing to her at the time. "Don't worry, Roan... I'll not do anything to interupt your talking," she told her, glancing at Loke once again before shaking her head and waiting for him to leave before following behind him. If he let her, she'd reach out and take his hand in her's.

Shaking his head, he knew she wasn't going to listen to him, even if it was for her own good, so instead he reached his hand out for hers while grabbing his cloak from the couch and swinging it over his shoulder. After she'd stand, he would head quietly across the room and out the door with her, awaiting for Roan to join the two of them in the dim moonlight. Glancing around, he took a small whiff of the air. There was something odd about it, but for the time being it was no reason for alarm.
