By now, Grace was about halfway getting the tree stood up, and she was spreading the branches out. She also had taken most of the decor for it out. She had the lights stetched across the couches. Some of her smaller pets kept batting at hte lights, and everytime she would call to them, "Come on. Leave the lights alone guys. You're gonna get electricuted, ya know that?"
When she heard Kain come in, she smiled. "Wanna help me untangle these lights? So, Is Rose gonna stay here with you when you use your old room upstairs? It is entirely ok with me. In fact, if you both live there full time, I'll allow you guys to handle renting out the other rooms in it since it has about three other extra bedrooms. And, Rose is such a nice girl. I'm glad you found someone like her."

I'm sorry Gracie, I didn't hear the bell... Sarace and I were just thinking about where to put the plate with cookies we already finished... smile
I'd say that the counter sounds like a good idea... so people can take a cookie if they want *she nodded and puts the place on the counter*

Grace's face filled with joy and relief. "Thanks Isabel. These lights are so hard to keep untangled. Do you think you can hold that end while we wrap it around the tree? OMG! I forgot a tree topper. gonk Does someone want to go get one?"
She heard the door open and she looked around. She smelled a hushed perfume, and she realized who it must be. Her neice who is often shy and quiet. She comes in, and sometimes you almost don't know she's there.
"Aqua. Would you like to help us decorate the christmas tree?"

*Grace gives Aqua a long long string* "Do you think you can string that bowl of popcorn and berries right there onto the string? That'd be a big help. Soon as me and isabel get these lights up. We will wrap the snacktime garland around the tree. Maybe sarace and isabel would like to bake some cookies, and cut them in shapes that can be dried to stale, adn we can turn them into homemade tree ornaments. What you guys think? I mean.. I picked up a few animated ornaments here. However, I'd like some homemade touches on it."

Grace just nodded as she sang along to the christmas music playing in the shop. She was finally starting to get the tree together.
