Rex let out a lonely and desperate howl as they escaped as he too ran. He'd heard the shouts of villagers and saw the flames atop torches he could sense were meant for him.
Sunny held tight to Kibo and cried softly, scared and fearful both of and for her friend.

A hand reaches from the shadows, pulling Rex in before he could be attacked by the mob. He instead stood in a flipped Tortuga, every building, villager, and item's shadow's places switched with the actual object, so the familiar images of the objects were in their shadow's place, and the shadows were in the original's. As Rex stepped forward, his own shadow, as Kibo commanded, grabbed the beast around the waist and arm, incapacitating him.
Kibo: Don't fight, Rex. The shadow pulls with just as much force as you do. When you try to move, the shadow will fight back with the exact amount of pressure. Just relax, Rex. We're not trying to hurt you.

Sunny watched and bit her lip, completely thrown off on what to do. She felt terrible for hurting him and whimpered when she saw the gash she'd left. "Rex, please come back..." she whispered, getting his attention.
The werewolf lowered it's gaze from her's as if ashamed and fell to the floor, once again seizing and quaking as before, only this time the effects were in reverse. Soon enough the human Rex was passed out on the ground breathing shallowly.

Kibo's face softens, and he walks over to Rex, running two fingers across the wounds in his side and neck. The flesh fizzled as it fused together again, leaving no inkling that the wounds had ever been there, save another small hole in an already tattered shirt. He walks back to Sunny, kissing her comfortingly.
Kibo: He'll be okay, I promise. The wounds weren't serious.

"Hm..."
Storm ticked her nails against her perfect white teeth. She pointed to teh rows and stacks of brightly coloured bottle behind her counter, speaking a strange sounding word. A piss yellow bottle floated out to the couple, water already condencing on the glass.
"This. I think it is called crank, but do not cash my word in, so to speak. No alchohole, no posion."

"What should we do? We can't just leave him here... Do you have a secure room on the Godspeed? Not the brig, mind you. He may be dangerous but he's still my friend..." Sunny whispered, stepping forward and touching Rex's face to check for fever.

Kibo: Don't worry, I have the perfect place.
He picks Rex up, carrying him over his shoulder as the three rose from the shadows. Kibo's hand never left Sunny's the entire time.
Kibo: Let's get back before he wakes up.

Sunny nodded and squeezed his hand, feeling her exhaustion making her weary again. All the adrenaline in her system had jumpstarted the little energy that she had left but it was draining from her once more.

Kibo put his arm around her, steadying her.
Kibo: Do you want me to carry you too?
His face regained its former smirkiness.

"Are you certain you have room?" she said, looking up at the form of her unconcious friend that took up a fair amount of room. Still, she was too tired to argue when Kibo scooped her up and she let herself fall asleep as he gently carried her bridal style.

Still sitting on the beach, the girl began to amuse herself by piling the wet sand, one handful on top of the other, making a sand mountain. The silver shell was placed beside her. As the sand mountain grew higher, she sang softly to herself a song. "sakura sakura yayoi no sorah miwatasu kagiri kasumika kumoka rioizo izuru izaya izaya miniyukan" Suddenly, a large wave washed over her. When she had rubbed the sea water out of her eyes, she discovered that her sand moutain had disappeared and so had her sea shell. She looked up and saw the silver shell escaping with the fast retreating water. The girl hurriedly chased after it into the ocean (yet again). (The song is a traditional Japanese song that usually children like to sing. The english translation of the title of this song is "Cherry Blossoms." It's similar to the American children's songs such as "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," "Hey Diddle, Diddle," etc.)

"This. I think it is called crank, but do not cash my word in, so to speak. No alchohole, no posion." Aubry looks at it suspiciously, but then tastes it. it had a sour taste, but fruity as well... "it tastes good..." she said, nodding at Storm.

[I just watched your sigg. It made me die a little on the inside. And not the good kind of dying, either.]
Storm only grinned.
"Just wait till later, lovie, it only gets better. You drank it, so it takes a little while to flushi into your system."

Kibo smiles, walking onboard the Godspeed. He carries Rex into a deserted room, and lays him in the center. He snaps his fingers, careful not to wake Sunny up, and several dummies, a large bed, and many other things to keep him occupied until he calmed down. He closes the door, and the wood fuses with the wall, so no one could get in or out. He then carries Sunny over to her room, laying her down gently on her bed. He pulls the covers over her, and kisses her gently on the forehead.
Kibo: Goodnight, my love.
He walks quietly out the door, smiling softly at her as he closes it.

Sunny woke up slowly, too comfortable to move. For a few minutes she tried to fall back asleep, tucked safely under her covers and warm against her pillows. Eventually she gave up and begrudgingly got out of bed, wandering over to her mirror and letting down her hair from it's pins.
She changed clothes into a pretty yellow tea gown and sunset orange duster with red accents. Feeling lazy she skipped on adding any jewelry or styling her hair. Instead she combed her long black hair out into lightly touseled curls at the ends. She slipped her gold slippers onto her feet and headed out the door, missing her destination about four times.
After turning back when she passed the library door she entered slowly and skimmed over the titles emblazoned on the spines of innumerable books. Eventually she plucked a book of poems from it's shelf and settled down on a chaise lounge.
